Hi. I have problem... my laptop just keeps shutdowning itself without (?) a reason. It mainly happens after few hours of extensive use, let's say, playing DA:O, so i guess it is connected to cooling system or maybe temperature of CPU, GPU and things. But question is : what can i do about it?

Do those actually work? I saw one in the store the other day, and it looked ridiculous...

Definitely a cooling issue, you should check the inside for dust and try to clean out dust from any vents and heatsinks/fans. Also, it might help to apply some fresh thermal paste to the CPU/GPU if possible (try to go to a technician for that).
Also, look up for some temperature benchmark programs online so you can see what temps your GPU/CPU are running at.

If you aren't confident with dismantling your laptop a can of compress air can do wonders for a dusty Heatsink Fan assembly.
