It seems like many people have had problems with "Advanced Training" even on the Xbox 360.

Here's what i'm experiencing.

I've unlocked Jacob's barrier ability. It's currently at lvl 3 on Jacob. If I were to do advanced training in barrier I only get "barrier lvl 1" on Shepard. This happens with ALL loyality skills. Whatever loyality skill I do advanced training in (it does not matter if there is zero points or all points in a loyality skill) it ALWAYS ends up at lvl 1 on Shepard.

I even tried loading an old save from when i've just unlocked the tech lab and I still run into the same problem. Anyone else experience this problem?

IS THIS A BUG? And if so are there any plans to fix this?

I'm pretty sure that's how it's supposed to work - you get one 'free' point when you do the advanced training in a power, and levels 2 - 4 you have to pay for with your level-up points.

Can anyone else confirm that this isn't a bug.

The description of advanced training says "Each time the project is complete, Shepard selects a new bonus power, and any points already spent transfers to the newly selected bonus power".

Sounds like if my allies "loyalty power" is level 3 and I use "advanced training" for that loyalty power then Shepard should get level 3 of that power.

I just need someone to confirm this for me please.

When it says that the points spent on the power transfer it means that if you have a bonus power and level it up and then select a new one for Shepard then those squad points are refunded and you dont lose any. The bonus power starts at level one regardless of what they are on your squadmates.
