Download and install the Dragon Age Toolset

that you won't get the "out of memory" bug
(if you do not have at
least 4 GB of RAM and you get the "out of memory bug", I'm afraid
I don't have a solution - Bioware needs to sort this out) (these lines borrowed from someone else's guide, thanks for posting it)
Find your most recent save. Since we are meddling, make backups first, I make no promises that you wont break your game somehow!
Open the .das file in the save folder you want to use.
Expand the SAVEGAME_CAMPAIGN tree
look for:
CAMPAIGN_CIF_ENTRY_AREA_LIST
CAMPAIGN_CIF_ENTRY_AREA
CAMPAIGN_CIF_ENTRY_POSITION
CAMPAIGN_CIF_ENTRY_ORIENTATION
SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR
and inside that find the next instance of SAVEGAME_PLAYERCHAR
inside that, find POSITION
you need to modify these to get inside the mine, then save, then edit that save to get back out, because there are no accessible exits!
Getting IN to the mine:

You will appear by the four torch puzzle in the Architect's lab, and getting out will place you in Amarithine, near the Chantry.
I was able to retrieve the Wedding Ring, the Lyrium Sand, and the Dragon's Egg that I missed, and warp back out by doing this.
I hope this helps anyone else stuck in a similar position
