Within the confines of the Mass Effect world, though, how can you be sure of that?

it makes me sick that the reapers make humans into weapons. have you ever really thought about it while playing ME? your killing a bunch of former humans!

this thought just came to me when i looked at a picture of one of those big flying bug thing (protariens?) with all the human heads inside it.

i feel sick.

****ing reapers are dead in ME3!!!!!!!

Who cares man? We do way worse stuff to eachother in real life. And have done worse stuff to each other for thousands of years, and will continue to until we find something new and interesting to kill.

I'd only care about them being human if I'd known the human in the game.

Since I know Bioware created no such person, and that one does not exist, I'm like, "meh".

Oh, Kusy. Every time you say something I am distracted by your magnificent forum avatar.

Where did you get that?

in real life, i dont kill people and im sure you dont either. but in the context of this game i didnt get a choice to do something other then kill the human reaper. i actually felt like i was shooting a little curiouse baby, curiousely popping its head up to see what was going on only to get shot repeatedly in the eye ball. if the reapers can "save" a species by making it into an imortal reaper-human, then what if that reaper was the sum of all those liquified people, and what if i was actually in a way killing those people all over again.

next time i fight reaper-human, im not going to shoot at it and see what happens.

maybe reaper-human could be a recruitable squaddie for ME3?????

If you don't shoot first it gleefully tries to fry you with its chest nuke. It is an angry baby and it needs a high velocity spanking.

... Nobody took OP's username into account? Really? We're giving serious responses?

That said.

Husks = dead, reanimated corpses. As in they're dead. Whatever was being done to them while they were alive really doesn't apply anymore.

are you an algorithm for performing encryption, as well as whatever a cero is???

they are dead??? so whats the point of liquifying 100s of thousands of humans in order to make a human reaper? i dont think the reapers were trying to make glue.

I meant goverments,Agent orange. Big suprise dropping tons of chmicals that kill organic matter effects humans. Who knew? Hitler's "final solution". Which to be perfectly honost is a terrifing thing to call anything.

Slavery, torture, nuclear weapons,The CIA testing LSD on random people, the russians (allegedly) trying to create a half chimp half human super soldier back in the cold war. The list goes on and on and on,but the gist of it is we've been trying to kill eachother and hurt eachother since the first guy beat someone to death.

Ah yes, Cain.
I find it tragic that so many people believe that the existence of humanity depends on a history of constant struggle for existence.  That's about as inhuman as you can get.  Protecting the weak, not the death of the weak, makes us human.  (That's not the only thing that makes us human, of course.  Just thought I should clarify that.)

Let's see... Stupid thread, "Spamming Troll." Adds up.

Yes. Husks are dead. People who get impaled on "dragon's teeth" just sit there and bleed out during the time it takes to convert the organic material. They're dead, and whatever was human about them in the first place had already been stolen and turned into something else.

The same thing was done to the humans on the Collector base. They were processed and used as raw material for something they didn't really need to be alive for.

Space zombies. Human goo. Both dead, both used to make something that's trying to kill you.

There's no ethical question here.

Sheperd: "There more advanced more evolved than the ones on Eden Prime." In response to the slapping husks he "discovered" on Horizon, which were way more advanced than the pulse emitting dangerous husks from Eden Prime and the rest of ME1 gaming experience.
