The Locust SMG doesn't believe in psychics.  Somehow, it works.

not too interested in kasumi just what she could bring to my infiltrator that i put on hold for this DLC to come out. If the flash bangs are good that might be my bonus and if the smg is useful that could end up being my SMG. I wonder if it will be a further ranged smg? or perhaps shorter range with higher damage? what would make it un-useful if it just does more damage on shields.

There's no benefit of a silenced weapon. But silenced weapons are cool as hell. I'm all about looking badass, couldn't care less about utility.

Here's hoping the Locust is a more accurate SMG. As for flashbang, I'm predicting an aoe Neural Shock that sadly doesn't benefit from upgrades.

why just do we give her a big ass knife? ommi tool? how can it be used for killing? it's device not weapon. she maybe has hidden and retractable knife inside weave. so quickly put it out and inside.

Kasumi has:

SMG (can use the new one)

? (probably heavy pistol)

Overload

Backstab (with cloak)

Flash-grenade (Loyalty & available for shepard)

After playing with her on a few missions, my assessment is as followed.

-Kasumi is pure win.

-Her back stab move seems to have the same kind of pathing limitations as a vanguard sheps charge.

-She cloaks, runs up to whatever she(or you) told her to backstab, backstabs then cloaks again(Most of the time) to retreat back to her original starting point(or behind cover)

-The Lotus machine gun seems to be higher damage than the tempest, with a 20round mag, and 300something ammo. It shoots a lot like the starter assault rifle. Extremely accurate.

-Kasumi is pure win.

-Kasumi only uses heavy pistols and SMGs.

-Loyalty power is a kind of CC with the option of upgrading it to do damage as well as CCIng or increasing the CC range. It also overloads weapons and does several other things.

-Again, Kasumi is made of win.

-Her loyalty mission is made of Win.(Not for the combat just for the -feel- you get for her)

-Bring her back for ME3. I don't care what you have to do. Tali be damned, I want Kasumi.

-Lastly, to our good friends at BioWare. If this power(Her backstab) is in fact a test for ME3, for the love of all that's good and holy in the universe, let Infiltrator sheps have it. It has to be quite possibly the coolest thing I've ever seen.
