Also, you would like a toggle...we do not need one. we need world peace...need to help children around the world from suffering....
If you needs are as asimple as wanting something irrelevent in a damn game, you must live one blissfully ignorant life.

hey Op you do not need one you are just demanding one because you do not want to take the time to just take it off and because the game has a option to do that
Yeah, nice sentence there. And no, the game does not 'has' an option. You must remove the entire suit, else you speak thru a microphone for the rest of the game. (facial expressions aside)

If you want world peace, then why are you typing on a forum about my opinion? Why are you playing ME2?
Get out there and solve 'the problems'! Donate money, walk old ladies across the street, give to food banks.
World Peace has NOTHING to do with this topic, so I must LOL at you sir.
PS: If my life was contained inside the needs of a game, I'd be darn happy as long no Reapers existed.
PPS: I did 'not' ****** in your corn flakes, honest.

the N7 armor can be used with out one so I suggest you go back and look inside the game. Oh I could care less about world peace according to you stupid whiny cry babies. there are many of us who do not care if the dlc armor are one piece or not its you poor cry babies that have a problem when a game is not kissing your butts or pleasing you in every way.

We need a helmet toggle!
And surround it with the brightest, the toughest helmets we could find

I mean I'd understand if they had to make a new model or something but there are people in the game wearing it all the freaking time? How hard can it be to put Shepard in an outfit he is already wearing at the beginning of the game?

ExtremeOne: I will continue to voice my opinion as a buyer of BioWare games, thank you.
If you excuse me, the 'cry babies' will give some more feedback on the forum.

Lots of people want to be able to remove the helmet on the DLC armour (myself included), but BioWare has already explained why we can't. Apparently, it would ruin the look of the armour or some stupid reason like that.
Its not stupid its how they designed the armor. once again gamers will whine and moan over any little thing that5 does not please them. The game has a freaking Option to not wear one at all. maybe some of you need to look at it.
No, it was stupid. I have the Cerberus, Collector, Terminus, Blood Dragon, and Inferno armors and I hardly ever use them because they obscure my character's face. If you're making a game where you put so much time and effort into making the character's convey their feelings through the the expression on their face, then it's silly to release such a large amount of DLC bonus armor that completely obscures all the character's expressions.
It's almost as silly as releasing an alternate appearance pack that obscures your allies faces with a think pair of sunglasses.

What I really want is armor that looks like Heavy Armor in the first game. The model is IN the freaking game. Hell Shepard is wearing it when he dies at the beginning of the game. But you never get a Chest Piece that looks like it.

It can be done in fact the Mod thread has figured out how to make Shepard look like almost any NPC in the game. Of course integrating those armors to work with the N7 armor customization system would take a bit more effort.

well you know what do not wear the dlc armor if you do not like it. but this is a bunch of Sh*t that you bunch of cry babies are demanding for something that really has no effect on the game. Only because it effects your play style. whats real silly is you and the rest of you crying of non important stuff

I did not claim that I was not satisfied with my purchase of Mass Effect 2, nor did I even assert that I was dissatisfied with my purchase of the Alternate Appearance Pack. I demanded nothing, I merely offered constructive criticism regarding a minor flaw in what is overall a brilliant game.
I would suggest you research this concept of constructive criticism. It involves considering a situation logically and then structuring a sound and coherent justification for your critique and ideally following up that critique with a proposal for how the situation might be rectified.
It does not entail hurling the same juvenile insult over and over again and praying that you'll somehow look like less of a fool this time around then you did the last dozen times you repeated the exact same thing.
Furthermore, If you're truly convinced that our efforts in complaining about this issue are as trivial as you assert them to be, then might I suggest that by your own standard your time would be better spent elsewhere as opposed to acting like a jackass on an internet forum which you yourself have asserted to be meaningless.
I hope you found my constructive criticism of your prior statement enlightening for you appear to be in dire need of some enlightenment. class dismissed.

EDI: That was a joke?
I can only imagine it was, because if you was half as intelligent as you tried to make yourself out to be in your reply to ExtremeOne then you would know that number is very small in comparison to the number of people that actually bought the game and thus Bioware wouldn't take notice.
Bioware has already said it can't and won't be changed, which part of that statement do you not understand?
So with that in mind, if you were intelligent, you would... assuming direct control "find another way!" releasing control of how a compromise can be made, like oooh I dunno...
[b]This idea maybe?

Yet the vast majority of players are asking for a toggle which would please warmonger / battlefield reality fanatics allowing them to wear full combat helmet as well as casual / immersion fanatics allowing to see their toon interact properly with others and items.
What i find amazing is that the toggle was dumped between ME1 and ME2 but also that no one noticed collegues working on DAO created a palliative with the auto toggle for conversation / social interacting.
In ME weapons are retractable, i would love to see the same for helmets (ala Lost in Space).

Nope, but it is immersion breaking and sometimes rather ridiculous in 'dramatic' scenes with your squad.
*sips some Ryncol light thru his helmet*
Yes, because magically removing, at will, a helmet that weights a few kilos and is the same size as a small bucket isn't immersion breaking at all... really, unless they make an animation every singly time when you remove the helmet and tuck it under your arm (or attach it to the armor, like the weapons on the back), and it stays there during combat, this would be by far the most ridiculous option. Face it, helmet toggle is stupid and incredibly unrealistic. And it simply can't be done, unless the devs go to great lengths animating and remaking cutscenes...
Now, if you want a permanent pre-mission toggle on the Normandy, like for the N7 armor helmets - I fully support that. Whether you want to stride into battle with an exposed head just to see Shepard's face is a personal decision.
But toggle at will at any point in-game is simply stupid.

Darth Vader , he's possibly the best known bad guy out there. Do you think he'd still be as good a bad guy if his helmet came off every time he had a chat?
People are basically asking to be able to wear a helmet without wearing it
I honestly don't get the big deal here. if you want to wear a helmet , do so , it offers extra protection. If not , don't , tadaa , it's a miracle!!!!!!. I loved being able to decide what I looked like in ME2. I liked being able to hide my face or show it. I had the options , win/win.
