I read another topic on this forum about having Sigrun to +100 with just the 1st item you give her. This is exactly what happened to me, just 2minutes after i just got her. But I didn't see anything on that topic about her staying at neutral, so here goes... Did it happen to anyone else ? Any clues as to how to change it ?

Yes, Sigrun goes to +100 and stays at neutral. If you want to change it, some of the Orphan Board quests in the Inn will have Sigrun disapprove. Her approval score will drop, but not by a big amount. You can then give her another gift and her score will climb again, but she will not be neutral anymore.
The same thing can happen with Justice

What if I have already done the quests for the orphans ? Can I get her score to drop any other way ? I suppose there are some decisions further in the game that she won't like, I would appreciate it very much if someone could give me a few examples of those.

I had this happen also, right after she was offered to join the Wardens. She didn't even go through the joining and i gave her no gifts. The same can also happen to Justice as well.

Try not to take quests from The Blight Orphans.
It seems that the problem is in them.
If these quests aren't taken, then this bug doesn't happen it seems.

I had this as well, except it's not just gifts, any dialogue option that would have garnered approval gave her + 100 and neutral as well.
So Realmzmaster, is the work around to have her lose approval then give her another gift/dialogue option? If I lose 6 approval with her then give her a gift to take her back up to 100 will that get 100 and love or will that be equivalent to 6 and neutral?
Edit: Lost 8 approval with her in dialogue, still neutral, gave her a gift, still neutral. That doesn't work then.
Edit2: There is a fix for PC! You need to enable the developer console by creating a shortcut to daorigins.exe (located in 'Program Files/Dragon Age/bin_ship') then right click, select properties and add the line' -enabledeveloperconsole' (with a space before the -).
Run Dragon Age, select the party member with the bug and open the console. It is important you are controlling the party member when you open the console.
Now type the line (exactly) 'runscript zz_gxa_addapproval X Y'.
X = number 1 -6 depending on the stat the approval skill changes for that character.
1 = Constitution
2 = Dexterity
3 = Magic
4 = Willpower
5 = Cunning
6 = Strength
Y = any number from -100 to 100 (representing the approval change). You should take around -80 away (or to a point BEFORE you would normally acquire the first approval skill, i.e. 'Minor Dexterity'.)
Example for Sigrun:
'runscript zz_gxa_addapproval 2 -80'.
This will take Sigrun's approval to +20 and change her status to 'Friendly'. When you gain her approval it should all be back to normal now (i.e. giving her the Spyglass and getting + 18 approval will result in +38 approval, 'Warm' status and the 'Minor Dexterity' skill.

Interesting, I used my method for both JUstice and Sigrun and it worked, but I also did the Orphan board quests last.

Somehow, this does nothing for me. I open the console (can't move / click etc) and type this, press enter and nothing happens. I've repeated it several times, but it does nothing. Does anyone have an idea?
