My 2 year old yelled "Oh ****!" the other day, so I'm pretty sure I need to cut back on the swearing. Or not let her watch Goonies anymore...
No no no!!!! Goonies should be required to be watched in grades 1-11.
Honestly children will learn to swear regardless. Like everything else in life it is up to those parents and others around the child to teach them to be responsible with the swearing. Or something like that.

i let my boys swear yes its also a way to express yourself . And i told then if your playing ball and get hit in the groin and it hurts there is no shame in showing it . And both have grown up to be gentlemen . i just tought then there is a time and place when not to swear . And it turned out that they swore less then their friends did . because it wasnt restricted , it wasnt a big deal to them.
now theres a good parent

That's true. And I agree about the Goonies, which is why she started watching it at age 2

WARNING BAD JOKE INCOMING!!
I hope you did not teach them proper grammer
Truthfully I am no parent myself but I am a uncle and godfather but like those childrens parents I believe it is better to introduce kids to the real world. Not try and protect them from what is really out there.

ok well i did not have a very good childhood no leave it to beaver home life for me . In the third grade i came to the conclusion if i was to make it in this life i should take care of myself . because nobobdy else was going to do it including family . So my schooling suffered . i was thinking of other things like eating and stuff. So forgive my bad grammer . i know its bad . But my oldest made the honor roll every year in high school . No when i couldnt help them with their school work i hired a kid that was 3 years older then them to help them . and no offence taken
Ya no offense or malice ment. I am the last person that should be critizining someones grammar. I just could not help it

addiction21. Only one credit ? hell you could get that from home with an online school . go for it .
Oh no need to worry I was ment to graduate in June of 2000. In July of 2000 I finished a two month Brit Lit course in 7 days and got my diploma.
English or language courses were and are always my kryptonie or achillies heal so to speak. Math, shcience, social study, and the such I could pass in my sleep (and I regularly did just that) but language courses just beat me down.

But I tend not to though - I've spent nearly 20 years very rarely swearing (if at all) around her, so it's not a habit I've picked up.

He told me everyone in the elevator started laughing.
As for swearing in the house, my parents were too busy to care after 3rd grade.

I tend to be creative in the way I insult so it does sound more funny than vulgar, though.
