I really hope they have another system like Origins. DA2 was good but Origins kicked that games a** all over the place. It had a better story, better characters, and it felt more epic. The only thing DA2 did better was the combat and the graphics. Now whoever Bioware has a whole bunch of split fans. Some want Hawke and the others perfer the warden. It seems quite obvious their going to bring the stories together so I think they should do this game like they did with the origins story. WE should be able to upload the warden and play the story from his perspective. Or we can download Hawke and play from his perspective. They can change the story up some to work for both characters. Either way this way we can be whoever we want. Also I really hope they let us change are characters look, even if we upload them. I for one prefer my warden over Hawke.

Wow, your link to Dragon Age: 3 with multiplayer is scarying the crap out of me. Right when I hear that rumor is true, Dragon Age will be dead to me just like that. I hope they are just bs'ing, but seeing Dragon Age: 2, I'm still kind of worried.

I hope they take longer than 2 years, though. Even with a big staff, the game should take longer than 2 years. I would say that 3 years is a healthy amount of time to make a good game.

You are welcome. I hope they will add dark elves to dragon age 3 :) and some plot of them, i really like dark elves. And yeah, i badly fear that if they fail it like DA2 kind of ninja game but it was good anyway. Hope so they made it best DA like big worlds and etc.. like oblivion but DA style like DAO.

I really hope there will a DA3 to look forward to but i really hope it isn't like awakening i hope it will be longer and more in depth, there are many good things from DA2 that i think should be put in DA3 also such as companion armor.

i think morrigan or the child (if you took that option) should be included in DA3.

No No. i can uderstand why everyone like hawke but he was a very hollow character. don't get me wrong i loved DA2 but i like being able to choose different races and there back stories (but not elves they suck). seing as the next game will be set in orlias it would be possible to get a new main character in the mix. i would very much like to play a dwarf again or play my DA:origins character seing he is a dwarf and has been named a paragon and also he maye king of orzammar so would like to see him return.

I would like to see a new main character, with the choice of chosing a race, but have Hawke, and possibly the Warden as companions. Uploading the saved files from Origins, and DA2 would determine the gender of Hawke and the Warden. Cause it would be weird if you uploaded the files of Origins and DA2 where you beat the game with a female Warden, or a Female Hawke and in DA3 Hawke, and the Warden were automatically male. I didn't think gender changes were possible in Thedas...though with magic...

In DAO you played your own character, and in DA2 you played some weird combination of a pre-defined character and your own, which just didn't work.

Bioware needs to choose what the next PC will be: your own character, or a pre-defined character (like Geralt in The Witcher, for a perfect example.) No middle ground.

Assuming they're continuing the use of voiced PCs and paraphrasing dialogue wheels, they have to make a pre-defined character. It just awkward to roleplay a character the way you want when you can't play them as you wish (you don't know if what Hawke is going to say will match your expectations, for example), but at the same time can't roleplay a specific character because you simply weren’t given enough information about them.

Choose, Bioware: a silent, moldable, ambiguous figure you can create yourself (The Warden)... or a voiced, predefined and designed character (Geralt).

Also, don't f--- with our Wardens. If they appear as a NPC or a companion in later games, especially if they're voiced, that is f---ing with us. They are our characters, you gave us the ability to imagine them how we wanted. Either we have control of them, or nobody does.

I just hope we don't get a pre-determined character like in DA2. Maybe it's just me, but I like to build my characters from scratch in a roleplaying game. I don't like if appearance, voice, gender/race/class (or any combination thereof), background, etc. is forced upon you. It just doesn't feel like I'm playing my character but someone else's.

See, now, I agree with this, but this just wouldn't work with paraphrased dialogue wheels and, some may argue, voice acting at all. This is all fine with pre-determined characters - you get to choose the message of what they're trying to convey and they deliver the line, whatever it turns out to be, in their own way. Not with your own characters.

So Bioware really has three choices:
- scrap the voice acting and the paraphrasing, go back to Origins style conversating
- carry on, but with a character you're supposed to create yourself
- carry on, but with a predetermined character.

Number 1 is what I wish they will do... but they just won't, will they?
Number 2 is what happened in DA2, and the result was a hollow character that was just difficult to roleplay, due to being only partly defined as a character and subsequently impossible to wholey define yourself.

So I'm just hoping for Number 3, as it would be better than another Hawke, and another Warden-type character is but wishful thinking.

Multiplayer could work with Dragon Age. I wonder if DA3 will be an MMO?

Probably not, those things are hard to make.

Are they going to release expansions to DA II? Like Awakening for DA:O.
Not a DLC but an expansion pack.

If they make DA:3 anything like number 2, they won't get my money.

The end product was a rushed money grab and it showed. The game could have been an epic of epics, and instead of taking a step forward from origins, it takes a giant leap back.

I love both Dragon Age: Origins, and Dragon Age 2, I had gotten the Latter first because I didn't have the means to get Origins and Dragon Age 2 was at Wal-Mart and I had been there at the time so I picked it up, I ended up beating the game 3 times before I got Origins which I got Digitally from Amazon. I then went on to beat the game 3 more times, each time with a different personality, having a Sarcastic/witty Mage, a Diplomatic Mage, and an Aggressive Mage, and doing the same with Warrior, and Rogue. Playing Origins I found the story to be slightly better than Dragon Age 2, I did enjoy the story of DA2 but Origins had more to it, plus you weren't limited to a single city and the outlining areas. I did however like Hawke though I felt that He or She as that is what I played could have had a lot more to her. I finished DA2 wanting more, I was sad to see the game end. While when I beat Origins I felt much like I do after reading a good book; content. Not because I didn't like the game I enjoyed it greatly, but because I had managed to finish it which is good.

Whether they develop an expansion to Dragon Age 2 or a sequel, I hope it will be something that will cater to the majority.

It would seem that Bioware has quite a challenge ahead of them - Should they desire to go forth and attempt this gruesome task.

Dragonage 2 Rocks, just would wish it lasted longer than my "hawke" to levl 20. Anticipated it to be longer, but I hope that DA3 would be a lot like it. Rumors of multiplayers would be totally awesome. I play it along with my son, and we love it!

Dragonslayers rock!

I  think the dragon age three storyline should be along the lines of this
the child that morrigan has becomes a demon that threatens to destroy ferelden,Orlais and Kirkwall then king Allistar hires hawke and the warden to asemble a team and defeat this demon and at the start of the game you choose the path of the warden or hawke

Nooo-o.. My Warden wouldn't go against the OGB, no matter if he was evil. (nor would he work with that Hawke guy) That would be ****ing with my warden.. and well, the OGB ending isn't canon - even though it really is the ending that seems to offer great possibilities for future plotlines, Bioware made there to be number of endings and this made it really hard to actually continue Dragon Age series straightforwardly - and I think there was some thing about Dragon Age being more about Thedas, which would imply a new main character in every game of the series, and you know, cosidering that the OGB - if he you know exists in the continuity - would, I achieve the full powers of his when he was actually rather much older, if not for any other reason, because of the fact that he is an Old God.

Does anyone else it find weird that Morrigan refers to the OGB as a male? - High Dragons are always female - Old Gods are thought to be High Dragons yet the OGB is referred to be as male - are Old Gods actually different from normal High Dragons.. This could be actual a rather interesting point to explore - even if no mention to the possible OGB need not be made.

I really enjoyed DA2, as much if not more so than DA:O. Origins was great, but although its cool to have your own character, he felt more like a husk than a protagonist with the absence of speech and emotion. I love the way its done in DA2 just like I loved Mass Effect. Hawke was a great character, and it feels more like part of an epic story, although I have to admit I was hoping for more areas and cities etc... I'm assuming DA3 will continue Hawke's story, and I'd love it to be set around the eastern coast of Thedas (Antiva, Rivain and eastern Free Marches), or else in Tevinter, because Ferelden, Orlais and Nevarra sound too cliche now for fantasy RPG settings (Medieval Western Europe). Also I chose to join Isabela on her ship, and I'd quite like to do some swashbuckling on the High Seas, and once again see that sweet sweet ass of hers.

I wouldnt mind it being completely (or at least very) different to DA2. I liked it but DAO kinda spoiled me and now i have now my standards are pretty high. A single clear objective would help and the characters.... more deep thoughtful romancing for sure and changes in scenery never killed nobody.

Well I have to say that I enjoyed the hell out of DA2. Although I am not getting as much time to play it as I would like, do to deployments and all, but the only real gripe I had with the game was the same one everyone has, the re-used areas. Granted it did feel a bit rushed as well, but it was still really good none-the-less. I mean Bioware fixed the one thing that I had a problem with in DA:O, the combat, and they did it in a way that made me get more engaged in the game. Now there is no doubt in my mind that they will apply themselves to correcting the deficiency of level design in the next game and I am looking forward to it myself. Oh, also I don't care either way for the dialogue, either it is voiced or it is not. That's all there is to it for me.

Now as for my Warden, I have to say that I did get attached to that character, but I also did to Hawke as well. Sometimes having a good character, that everyone knows and cares about, die or move on just makes the story more engaging. Or maybe in this case, simply changing heroes each game allows the developers to change settings and story...whatever. But I am still looking forward to what was hinted at in the end of DA2.

Probably ranted for a little too much, sorry about that.

DA II is lack of good item, I think, and no dice game, which will make us earn more money.
Altough the story is good.

Any way, Baldur's gate is still the best for me ...
