there will not be a DA:O2. that was just to introduce you to the darkspawn. i think what would be good is like an invasion from the orlesians or the tevinter imperium. and more romances and more alistair and oghren. and a new kind of darkspawn like surface darkspawn who are more inteligent.also the party characters that wwhen you shouldnt be the same level as you they should be at level 10 or something and level up really quickly.

Dragon Age 2 or 3, however you look at it, is having a trailer come out on 8/17/10

that was the first time i got teary eyed from a video game......

i really wish they could bring her back in DAO 2...maybe at least as an npc, or a DLC so we can actually go after her!

U would like to point out that the grey wardens can't settle down because they have to keep the order going and they only live until they are thirty.

I think somebody misunderstood what Allistair said concerning Grey Warden lifespans. From the time a Grey Warden survives the joining, they can expect about thirty more years of life until the taint overwhelms them and they die from it. I totally agree that Duncan looks to be in his forties or fifties.

There's no reason to think of DA as a trilogy. ME was designed to be a trilogy but DA is a new universe with no plans for an end, as far as we are aware. That's why DA2 is entirely separate from DA:O and is not a sequel in terms of story.

Think of the DA games like the Elder Scrolls games. As long as people buy them and they have a story to tell, Bio will keep making them.

Wow, this a great tidbit of information. I'm extremely happy to hear this. I just hope that one day all of our looming questions about morgan, our warden and the new questions that will asirise during our adventure with Hawke will all be answered somehow diring the course of these games.

If they are making a DA3 I really hope that they will be some type of multi player aspect to the game.

I know DA2 was mostly designed to maximize profits for EA, but I really hope Bioware uses it as a learning experience for when they create DA3. They have a really great opportunity here.

DA:O and DA2 are like opposite ends of the spectrum (I know there have been games that are far more complex and "RPG-like" than DA:O, but let's just look at the DA series here). Hopefully they take the best of each (obviously more from DA:O) and use that to design DA3.

i'm gonna skip DA 2 not my style and hope the demo of DA 3 will be better and the game too i bought ME1, 2 Dragon age 1 because well it was SO GOOD i hardly ever buy games ! but i just tought that they deserved credit for Dragon age and mass effect games.

for Dragon age 2 its Not really alot of story well there is a story but it doesnt feel like i'm traveling.
it just fades to fast KILL MOBS KILL MOBS KILL MOBS hardly any progress ..
and i read about someone saying if they make more elder scrolls games and people buy them they just will keep making stories. i personally think that the elder scrolls is a much better game.
not to mention the work they probably put into the whole story, the world is pretty Huge .. i cant wait for Skyrim ^^

Well the demo is nothing like the game, i just finished and although the story wasn't quite to par with dao it's still a fun game. personally i'm really waiting for ME 3 cause that looks to put the other 2 to shame. *fingers crossed*

If they make DA3 I hope they bring back being able to talk to your companions all the time not just as quests
