And do you think there are not people who love both series (Dragon Age and Diablo series)? Who love whole genre of RPG? Not only one of some part of it? Someone like me, which can without problem switch between for example Baldur´s Gate-Dark Alliance 2,Diablo 2,Sacred 2, Hunted-The Demon Forge and LOTR-War in Rings (which are common named like action RPG and some are quite simple) to Neverwinter Nights, Dragon Age-Origins, Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2 or Mass Effect 3, Jade Empire, Baldur´s Gate, Icewind Dale and etc. (which are consider for quite true RPG games) and then to go into some MMORPG (in my case LOTRO or Pirates of Burning Sea (sooner also Dungeons and Dragons Online))

This is quite general problem that some people think all people who play that game played it same way and played it for same reasons

Everyone plays an RPG game for their own reasons and in their own way. I think that the Dragon Age Series is onto a winner and should not change it because people demand that it become co-op or MMO. Look at the Skyrim on-line game which has inferior gameplay and graphics, but was developed because it was "wanted" now its slated coz it is not as good as the original.

Stick with what they know and they'll do fine, change from a winning combo and they'll fall flat. They should concentrate on improving what they've got rather than trying to be all things to all people, they'll never achieve it.

Just finished reading Asunder and if the book is based on that (includes and uses it and DA2) then the game will be huge and a massive success.  With there being wardens, mages, templars and seekers in it I'm totally hooked. Friends old and new the book was amazing.

I enjoyed reading Asunder as well.  But I really don't want to play the Mage/Templar conflict out.  It should be a side story and not the main plot..

DA2 started the Mage/Templar storyline tho and ended (badly) when Anders threw you in the middle of it and once you resolved it and chose a side etc that was it game over. Very poor and lots of loose ends as the storyline was left hanging with no resolution. Asunder gives us this up to a point and so I do hope we have a continuation of that also but like I said makes me think that this is going to be DA3.

I never wanted to choose a side in DA2. The Templars were sadistic, power-mad bullies and every mage was a blood-mage loosening demons on everyplace and everyone.

Maybe the Flemeth/Morrigan story is directly related to the Mage/Templar Conflict....maybe Flemeth was actually Andraste?  And Sandal is the Maker.

That's what upset me with DA2, I loved the concept and the storyline, however the choices were to restrictive and I couldn't stop the calamity from happening no matter what I did. I couldn't get a compromise, nor could I stop nor help Anders with his passenger. Hopefully the powers that be have learnt from this and we will be given the power of choice in DA3 with the reactions from others that go with the choices we make.

I thought it would be cool if they could make it so that in DA3 we choose to play as either the child of the hero of fereldan or the child of the champion, then having the other become a companion. That would make some people happy cause then it would bring back a piece of both your DAO/DA2 characters. It would also let you be a race other than human depending on your DAO character, making more people happy. Flemeth of coarse would have to be the main villain who captured your DAO/DA2 characters and friends, thinking their all that stand in her way of whatever.

A good idea, with the companions being kidnapped meaning the "new" champion would have to rescue them, with Flemeth's ultimate goal of taking control of the champ and an epic battle with the witch of the wilds and co...... We know Flemeth will have a major part in future DA stories as she intimated as much in DA2 and DAO so its a question of how the powers that be or Mr Gader address this.

well if flemeth was able to defeat your first two characters, who better to replace them than the old god sole child or the kid of hawke. you'd want to have a hero who could surpass both. As for flemeth she didnt strike me as a money lover or ruler of men type of person, I would see her scheme as more of a, control hero's and friends so she can use them to destroy the divine and rule everything.

I dopracowac watki erotyczne raczej.

Przedewszystkim by nasze decyzje wnosily do gry to co wybieramy. Rozmowy z demonami, przeciwnikami jak najbardziej. Wybierasz zostawiasz go, zabijasz, przylaczasz sie czy cos. A nie tak jak w DA2. Przychodzisz, zabijasz. Dziekujemy. Bo to bez sensu.

It would be an interesting twist to the story to find out The Divine was being controlled by Flemeth. What really sparks my curiosity though is in DA2 when your in your estate, and speak to Sandal, one of the times he speaks about seeing a dark lady with a scary face. In my mind I truly think its Flemeth or he's leading you to otherwise.

I'm also of the romantic type and would agree with Trev about being the child of either the hero or the champion. It would round out the legacy of this tale very well, but I just hope they bring more of the choice elements like they had in DAO.

Agreed, being hamstrung in what we were able to do in DA2 was not good. I also didn't like the romancing in DA2 either and preferred the way it was handled in DAO. We were spoilt by the 1st game to be honest and ended up being left hanging at the end of DA2. So many loose ends and so little time lol

Most definitley I believe it's Flemeth.  Because he says the old lady comes to the foot of his bed and laughs.  Bang! Flemeth came right to my mind as the only character out of dragonage that just outrights laughs.  Mwa-ha-ha-ha!

I think with the writers emphasis on cinematic cutscenes and VO for interacting with npcs, it left us with less and limiting conversations and interactions that what Origins had.  Having a conversation at any time was very immersive instead of seeing a quest to go to someone's house to speak with them, but they're right behind you in your party.  Romance did become more of a two-step process like what they do in the ME series.  Whereas in Origins, it took a little more time and a lot more conversations to set up the romance.

As far as the loose ends?  Yeah, why did they end the game like that?  When we play games we like to say "HA! You lose!  I win!"  Not go..."Is that it?  Did I win?  What happened to me or my companions?"   Open endings can be great if done right, but DA2 didn't leave you with any feel good sense of winning the game.  And why would you leave an even more open ending with ME3 that is suppose to be the final game in the trilogy?  Bad writing.

I think it was the wanting to get the game out asap and possibly thinking that they could patch it up as they went with DLCs and the like. Not a bad idea if it was to finish or at least fix what was hanging. After reading the books I can see where they are going and I do hope the next book gives us even more insight into what Mr Gaider wishes to give us.

I want to work at my relationships, not just the romances, but the other people we meet as we did in DAO and to a lesser extent DAA. I want to make choices to see how they affect, not just me but those around me and have to put things right if I get it wrong.

I know it will take a bit of time but hey if CD Projekt can do it and Bioware got it just about right with DAO then they should take the time and make sure its pretty much done before releasing. Cliffhangers are great and I don't mind being left with the feeling that "it will be continued in the next instalment" type of thing. I've just played through the Witcher 2 again and love that feeling that uh ho, something wicked this way comes lol... And I got a FREE 10GB upgrade to the Enhanced Version which added a great deal more content, new quests and a host of other things all for nothing. Again wow and thank you CD Projekt. Take note Bioware and EA

Jerrybnsn I completely agree with you. You said it perfectly they had all these dramatic cutscences, but they didnt have any realistic just getting to know you or just wanting to talk converstions. I felt like i'd see that my hawke was really good friends with a npc but i never got to see it develope. Pretty much all you talk to them about is their personal quests. So if you didnt agree with them in that you had no chance to make it up to them. And they would just dislike you until you agreed with them in a quest.

If they are making the story that you are the child to the hero of ferelden or champion i think they should make the child your and you'r romance option and not just create a girl at the spot and if u dident have a romance then they could make the girl up or its gonna get to wierd.

With holy war on the horizon both the Tevinter Imperium and Orlais would be interesting settings but continuing with the same theme doesn't lend itself to revealing more of the depth in the universe. Or Fereleden after the death of the ruler without an heir but we already had a succession story. The Korcari Wilds exists outside the chantry and the imperium and society and use of magic could be very different there. The demons that are outside of the fade may be a minority. We could have a game based in the fade and revealing demon politics, power games and blood magic from the demon's point of view. Oh oh I know! The rigidity of the qunari society would be a perfect place to have political maneuverings driven by player action as cause and effect could be easily and believably signaled especially if the player character comes from outside of qunari society.

This is type of co-op I have mind
http://www.youtube.c...feature=mh_lolz

It was recorded on Lionheart-Legacy of Crusader which were heavily influenced by RPGs like Baldur´s Gate (on which also working your loved Bioware) and Icewind Dale-both great classic RPG of old school-althought it take also something from first Diablo
It is quite long, but because I try to record both co-op and singleplayer-and it include whole beginning of game, fighting, exploring and some dialogues and some cutscenes with compare in co-op and singleplayer

Played not online, but on LAN in one house, sorry for parts where is not ingame sound or it is little longer pause
And recommend to take time and see it from first video to last

Channel edited and added new videos+delete videos which was same more time

I'm still not a fan of co-ops or multi-player games. I don't have a home network and I would not want to be dependent upon others to be able to play a game. I'm sure its a great deal of fun, but having to join a group with an established hierarchy and having to play in a style that others want rather than my own, I don't think I would feel comfortable. I also don't like the fact that a number of games that have this as an option, ie Fable 3, means I will never complete all the achievements as I don't have friends who play the game ergo I can't complete some of the requirements. Games should reflect this and recognise if you are playing in a multiplayer or single player environment.

1.I have there also singleplayer videos (some) after co-op videos (video 2,video 8/9 second half of video, video 11,video 13,14 and 15
-and I uploaded mostly of co-op video becuase there is already X only singleplayer playing of Lionheart-LotC,so I would think that view from second possible of gameplay is good change and something new between all of that videos
2.I also respected that, but Lionheart-Legacy of Crusader (as I chosen him for demonstration) is in basic hard singleplayer RPG (co-op is something what add something extra into that game) with all what make true RPG and it if we terms of RPG features, then this game leave Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 behind. It is not perfect game, this Lionheart-Legacy of Crusader, but after I am playing it for longer time (1 day 14 hours if I can trust last save) I am quite satisfated. True is that relationship with companion are very, very simple but that again point rather to solo type of gameplay when you don´t need interaction with another character and be sufficient with yourselves

And Lionheart-LotC can be finished, completed in singleplayer even with quite less level then it is maximum level

And achievements-These multiplayer achievements always depend on authors which achievements (even if they included or not-there are games which have multiplayer and however they have only achievements which you can all collect in one player (CoD-MW3 I believe) or system which is in Mass Effect 3-you have dual system achievements and it is up to you if you do singleplayer or co-op part of achievement). And I don´t have also all trophies/achievements in all game I have. And probably wouldn´t,as some game server was shut down (like LOTRO-Conquest which I have on PS3) or it is dead (007-Bloodstone-on Steam)-so I won´t have simple them as you similar with Fable 3.And btw-there are specialized Xbox 360 achievement page for helping with that (achievements) or also there is group on Steam.
