da3 will not be da at all if its like 2....just recylded garbage omg there were like 10 Dungeone in the game with diff characters and lke 10 dungeons in all!!!, why am i paying more for a recycled game..get back to dao or gtfu...2 sux i wouldnt have paid 20 for it same ending for everyone, because same race at beginning!!dao i play now, da2 i played and beat in like 2 days...total crap game i will not buy unless is like origins..gaming industry is all about money...they take the name and build upon it..what game gets better??besides gta???da2 was just 5gb because it used the same zone over and over again....shame on you bioware...original GREAT!!!! 2nd!! SUX MY biiiizaalls

 My hopes for dao3 is hopefully something along the lines of da2's visuals, combat mechanics and conversation wheel. Dao2 was like going from epic lord of the rings to harry potter. Dream Da3 wud have the background and depth of origins, greater exploration, sick as companions, and missions and choices that can be reflected on the universe. A setting in the Tevinter Impierium where the last hope is to gather the strength of the races, choose to either oppose or aid the tevinter magisters and reclaim the golden city and end the blight for good. my biggest hope is that hawke and the warden get together somehow (and if the warden died, maybe hawke could be the host of his spirit like anders and justice) and that Sandal becomes the first dwarven mage and is a companion. 

just wanna know how the rest of the Da fans wud like to see their Dragon age 3:happy:

I am completely devastated right now..... I just finished Dragon Age2....... I don't know what I'm more upset about? That it finished so fast or how it ended...UGH NO! IT'S BOTH.....sigh I want DA3.

But I'm a fool. I never played Awakening. I guess I'll play that while I good DA3 comes out fast. But what a fail hope since DA2 was JUST released. I'm so sad.

I did like the Zavren, Alistair, and Leliana appeared. Lol did I spell their names right? HAHAHA:p I went my old Character and my Hawke in the next one though.... sigh I just cant believe it smh.

Here's how DA3's story will go on...You play as the child of morrigan..the one the warden conceived with morrigan in DA:origins...you grew up in orlais (morrigan having fled there)..and so on...

I am playing DA 2 and I am really enjoying it. People here complain about recycled dungeons that is RPG you can't have loads of quests and have a different dungeon everytime wiht todays technology it isn't fiscally possible. I don't see why so many are up on their high horse about DA2 when Awakening is still out there. i honestly beleive Bioware are some of the best game developers out there cause they actually LISTEN to the fans. Many of us complained about the combat (in DAO) so what do we get in DA2 faster paced combat that builds on the orignal format, giving people the chance (and if you play it on harder difficulties the NECCESITY) to play it as a party, and also gives you the chance to play as more of a solo thing if you want to. I thought the story was great and I thought the characters were really bringing back some of the fun of the original DAO ones. We all remmeber how annoying the awakening characters were. No one can sat Varric is not a cool character his entrance scene alone is enough to get you excited, and Isabella is a return to Bioware's classic strong, fiery and risque women. I too was sad to see there was no more info on Morrigans child. But we gotta remember this character has the soul of an old god in him he is something Bioware want to hold back untill the right moment, I think he will either be a main enemy or if we're REALLY good this Christmas and we are REALLY lucky he may be the main character. I always felt that ME1 and DAO had one fatal flaw, playability. Now don't shout but each of these game has a milestone in the game, a hurdle that you have to get over if your able to play the game, for ME1 it was the citadel, running around doing annoying quests for the fiftieth (trust me that is probably how many time I've played it) time is enough to make anyone give up and turn off. And for DAO it was Ostagar, after you complete these events it's so much easier to enjoy playing the game (this only counts for those who have played these games numerous times, if your just starting you will enjoy the Citadel and Ostagar) For a game that requires you to play the original just to get certain events maybe Bioware should of made both ME1 and DAO easier to jump into. I speak as someone who foolishly deleted my DAO and Awakening account (which also included all of The golems of Amgarrak and Witch Hunt) and now faces the TERRIFYING feat of playing it ALL over again just to see how it effects DA2 Overall though I feel DA and ME are going strong, I have enjoyed DA2 so far and I will get DA3 if they so choose to make it and I will DEFFINATLY get ME3. I love all that Bioware do and they can rip me off with as much DLC as they want because athough I know how the DLC wont be as engrossing as the main game I know it will be better than most of the CRAP that is currently out there.

Dragon Age II is awesome, my only problems are same dungeon maps and companion armor issues? (Why companion armor, i want to put my blood armor to Fenris just like Sten in Dragon Age: Origins.)

as long as its not multiplayer I'm OK with a DA:3 idea, any of them.... I heard it's a possibility, but I'd prefer it sticks to a one-person RPG. Or at least keep that type of play and make multiplayer the extra option.

I agree with all that said DA:2 ending came too fast. Storywise, its beginning was to slow before I could really grasps wtf Hawke's goal was in life. So, I hope if there ever is a DA:3, that it recaptures the sense of "epic questing" and "saving the entire world" of DA:O that DA:2 did not truly have for half of its play time.

I have already finished DA2 with all three possible classes and now I've rolled another mage whom I intend to play as bloodmage to see how it works out.

I loved the game, as much as I loved DAO. The battle is amazing, the story is really good and feels like a bildungsroman as it develops within a decade and you see the life of your char changing. I liked the fact that your relations with your companions are built through the quests and your behaviour and not upon silly gifts which in DA:O could get you to 100% friendship even though the companion might hate the guts of your char. I like the fact that rivalry or friendship, both give bonuses and you are not forced to play the diplomat so as to keep all companions available. I also loved the fact that you didn't even have to spend money to dress any other chars of your party apart from Hawke. Also, this thing they did with Hawke's personality, style stacking based on the answers you choose, is truly amazing, every time my char spoke it felt like the right tone to use.

Generally, I found DA2 really worth its money, as I had found DAO. I love how the devs manage to tie everything together and create a successful passage from the Origins story to the Kirkwall environment. I will definitely buy DA3 if there is a DA3 and I hope it takes place either in Orlais, which I find most probable, or in the Tevinter Empire in the middle of war with the Qunari. I am, however, willing to see whatever else as well, as I do trust the devs of this game. They haven't failed me yet, not one bit.

i was one that was dissapointed in this new 1 i dont see how the decisions you made before changes anything at all, and i was kinda hoping i could just be the guy i created before it kinda bumed me out that i did all that and got nothing!!

DA3 needs to be a great recovery game Origins was beast and had a great storyline, im like half way through the 2nd one and all you are is a poor dude trying to make it, they need to take off all the jumping around for rouges when they fight, the backstabs need to happen auto, when u press x from behind instead of just trying to slice someones back up, the moves are alright but Origins detail i thin was better the Radial menu needs to be changed back to Origins the inventory and weapon details as well im half way through and i havent even changed my weapons cuz i dont need use DA:O2 needs to be put out fast or thers gonna be another good game that got massacred because of ones stupidity

So I know this is totally off topic but...please.......did anyone else have the rising urge to name their dog Barkspawn? I mean that's like tradition to me ever since I played the Darkspawn Chronicles DLC for origins. I hope they bring back the Mabari in DA3 in some way shape or form JUST so I can get a kick out of that! lmao

DA3 has to be made. Origins was one of the best rpg's ever and da2 was also awesome just not as good as origins.They should mix the best of dao and da2 and make an awesome DA3. Maybe they will voice our dao character. Warden+Hawke= unbeatable combo. I hope DA3 will be the best rpg ever.
Seeing that they surely can't not make DA3. they should make it a dragon age trilogy like mass effect.

I enjoyed dragon age origins, dragonage 2 ad (yes I am sad) bought the pen and paper dragonage stuff as I am a huge role-play fan have been for more then 20 years! So there is huge amount of scale and scope for them to go where every they want with the third one!

Yes it is hinted at that it will have the hero from the first game and the champion of the third game in it, plus we have hints that morrigans story is not yet complete. This will be the base of the third story. If you look at all the story line arcs from the first story awakings, and the dragonage 2, it should be a very worth while game. And lets not forget that we have the DLC from the game as well.
So come on dragonage 3, I will be buying you as I feel its a grand story arc and I look forward to playing it
