Why, thank you! I've been after a Dalish girl to swoon for Zevran, but then I think... The Fade.. and I pause. Still, he's sweet & he's loyal, & there's not much better than that. Plus, he has great hands.
well if you have the pc version theres always the skip the fade mod that lets you skip straight to the companion dreams and cuts out all the tedious crap (while giving you the codices/exp/stat boosts you normally get from it)

Don't do it! It's a trap! They have Sandal running man trains and everything in there.Addai67 wrote...
LOL! You crack me up. Also the bit about breaking her fingers when she tries to fluff your hair... ROFLMAO, I can so see that happening.Ceridraen wrote...
Oooh - when Leliana announced that she 'knew about me & Alistair' in my altered-elf-marriage ending, I wanted to slap her. When she says he might 'learn to love me,' I debated reloading an Urn quest, defiling the ashes, & killing her. But - I didn't keep that save-line anyway, and it's back to a non-monarchial freedom for me.
But don't abandon Zevran, he is very devoted to a romanced Warden. Come over to the Zevran thread, we will convert you.

I considered that mod, truly - but I just can't. I have to endure each phase. But the truth is, I'm maxed on how many characters I want. I have my nice mage, my boy elf, & my human noble man - they're a good mix. I did start a commoner dwarf who was strangely cute with Zevran (she & Alistair were a horrible mix - she's too streetwise to go for Pure Sweet, & she adored Zevran on sight. But by that time, I was just sick of it. She was cute, too. Somehow, I made a Salma Hayek dwarf. It wasn't easy. Zevran got lucky that day.

As for me, a male who has an equal amount male/female characters, I romance Lelianna on my female characters except when I was going for the Alistair and Zevron and hopelessly romantic achievements. If Morrigan swung that way, I would probably go after her with a female character too. As for playing a male and being in a romance with Zevron, ah no. Not even in a game. LOL

I did! And Liara in mass effect. Kaiden and Alistair are so meek. Especially Alistair. Funny character, who I liked quite well in a negative sort of way, but so unassertive and sheep-like. But I suppose they have to be so all the male wardens can feel secure in their alpha male status. Men are sensitive like that I've found
and suddenly the males that play DA feel their masculinity questioned....o_O lol

It seemed a good idea at that time, the Warden did not expect the creepy eyelashes comment. It was cute until then, but at the end she fell for Zevran anyway. *shrugs*

Although I don't really see the huge appeal. You (as in: you men) don't play any part in this and never will. So yes, it's nice to look at, but to fantasise over it? There is not a snowball's chance in hell that you will ever participate. This is one of the fantasies I really don't get.Domyk wrote...

I only don't get it because it's not hot at all in Dragon Age; all the sex scenes are ridiculous and ugly. What is with the sex faces... everyone looks like they're having their privates ripped off :s I also don't get the whole two women = hot, two men = unnatural thing but that's another matter...!
I don't know why it's so hard to understand though. Finding women /men sexually attractive is normal, seeing two get it on together... why wouldn't that be hot?! IDK, maybe it's just me - I go for the gayness every time if I can, regardless of gender.
You can't stop fantasising about something just because you won't get a go... that's exactly what fantasies are for, isn't it? Or have I missed something here

Every Time.
Honestly, to me that is the main reason to allow her in the team at all.....
(Though her lockpicking is nice I would rather respec Zevran if t wasn´t for the romance).

If I as a man could participate I wouldn´t fantasize but take part....
Well, I mean, that´s what fantasy is about. I wouldn´t do things in a video game I can do in Real Life. That´s why I consider games like Second Life or Sims to be the most useless invention ever.

Well, as I said, I can understand the
aesthetic appeal. Just not the "OMG hawt!" factor of it. If I were into
guys, I wouldn't really find gay men hot either. I mean, more power to
them, but hot... nah
well... I like both and I like girl/girl and guy/guy well over guy/girl XD I have lots of straight girl friends who like guy/guy fantasies/imagery/stuff

But you can't make people pee themselves and cry about it IRL before shutting them in a house with no windows and doors and letting them burn to death after they fail to make toaster pastries.
Not that I use Sims for that purpose...
Also you can't be an astronaut IRL

I don't know why the femPC/Leliana pairing appeals to me so much, but it has become my second favorite romance pair (behind femPC/Alistair). Even though I like the angsty Alistair ending, there's something nice about settling with a pretty girl with a shady past and a sexy accent. Especially when she woos me to the tent with debauched tales of caramel pudding. I'm not made of stone, people.

LOL This is exactly the sort of thing that would make me think, "you have GOT to be kidding... please tell me you're kidding... (she's not kidding...dear Maker, why do I listen to Alistair about anything?)"SurelyForth wrote...

Then again, I prefer my males alpha and my female friends... well, sensible, at least.

Really? I hear there actually ARE astronauts....
I also hear that, unfortunately, lots of people burn to death because they fail at working with electric devices like toasters.....

You know, I miss the good old days before the patches had come out when romancing Leliana was actually hard. There were numerous threads about "LE FFFUUUU HOW DO I ROMANCE LELI". It pretty much required you to dance kazachok naked on a full moon on Tuesday while throwing cheese at invisible targets placed 200 km away from you. And then the patches came out and Leli was yours the moment you opened your mouth and told her she's one archdemon short of a Blight. Daaaaamn.
funny because the annoying french girl was ninja romancing me before patches where even released for the game
I honestly found it hilarious people had such trouble romancing her

Heh, yes, 11pm is definitely the witching hour. And for some of us, there definitely is such a thing as too much man. Hard to believe, but it's true.ejoslin wrote...
It is a bad idea to poke your head in on that thread after 11pm est. Or to click on any link posted by Cuddlezarro.
Edit: That is, if you're faint at heart! I feel right at home there, and the pictures... amazing!Though perhaps NOT that one!
But we were talking about too much woman...
