I am a male that plays nothing but female characters so every one of my characters goes right to the girl/girl romance. As a man romancing another man even if the character is female seems stranger than my female character romancing another female would be. Besides Leliana is the hottest character in the game and is just beaten out by Abigail from The Witcher as my top pick hot chick in all the video realms. If i ever could play a male character, watching man ass wiggle in my face for hours on end lacks a certain appeal for me, i would still romance Leliana with out a doubt.

My first character was a human female mage (pictured in the avatar) and she actually started a romance with Leliana without meaning to.  I mean, she was just being girly with a fellow girly girl, gushing about hair and shoes and stuff, and being concerned for her friend, comforting her over Marjolaine and all that.  When Leliana then made her feelings known... I couldn't actually turn her down.  It never went past the kiss, though... she couldn't accept Leliana's offer to go to the tent, because she just couldn't really take 'playing for the home team' that far.  Plus Allistair had firmly won her over with the rose by that point (both of them were the initiators of the tent scene in every stage of the romances on my first playthrough).  She actually took it surprisingly well and started being all girly about digging up details of Alistair's "performance" after he got my Warden into the tent, too.

So far that's the farthest I've gotten with her in a girl/girl scenario, except for going back and loading a previous save just to get the achievement (which feels really dirty, that one convinced me there should not be achievements in an RPG because they encourage and reward metagaming and discourage real RP).  And then I didn't need to do it that way after all, because I played a male elf mage who was a total cad and slept with both her and Morrigan.

Not necessarily for the girl-girl angle (not that detracted or anything *cough*) but she is my favorite of the romancable characters. I like Morrigan as a character, but she annoys the ****** out of me, Alistair is ok but he loses many points in my book for his little end game rant, Zevran? Meh. Also - Leliana has redhair - I can't help it, but I'm a goddamn sucker for redheads.

So as a result I always find myself going back to sweet, sweet redheaded Leliana.

I loved Leliana, I absolutely sought her out for a relationship. In my second playthrough I started pursuing Morigan before I found out she won't swing that way ... then I downloaded a mod that worked around the obstacle ... but as I talked to Lel, and when she actually confronted me about it, I couldn't bring myself to hurt her so had to dump Morigan anyway.

I've romanced her four times over with my avatar mage, but I haven't with any of my female Wardens. Granted, I also rarely play females. Most of my Maker's Breath community seems to go the fem!slash Leliana route, however.

I've romanced Leliana 3 times. First time was w/ a female Mage, (and the one I took into Awakening) then female City Elf and finally male City Elf. The Mage and male City Elf both lived. The female City Elf didn't.



My female HN romanced Alister and became Queen. My male HN romance Morrigan and got his heart broken ... and a demon baby.

Ehh...well....*ahem* with all the talk about hetero romances like femWarden/Alistair on the board, I uh....thought I'd see how many prefer yuri action with femWarden/Leliana.

It's a shame that particular arrangement doesn't have any party banter. Yiu'd think if they have things to say about Alistair or Zevran getting it on with the leader, well....

No can't do this. First because of the mighty power of Ali's charm and also because my Dalish was disturbed by her -- to put it mildly. First the talking about the visions she had, all their human god ranting my Dalish has no interest on and then last but least the talk about shoes and hairs. She escaped horrified to Alistair and complained to him:

"Alistaaaair, that human woman wants to talk with me about shoes *points to Leliana* O__O I mean SHOES, they are there to keep the feet dry and not to talk about it." o.O *hides behind him so Leli can't see her*

Leliana *comes from the other side, searching*: "Where is Lenya? Have you see her, Alistair?. She simply rushed off in the middle of talk."

Alistair *shows his best innocent expression: "Nooooope. Sorry."

*Leliana wanders disappointed off to the other side of camp, near the trees.*

Alistair *whispers*: "Air is clean now, you can come out again.

Lenya: Creators, thanks you just saved me, pheeew."

Alistair *flashes goofy grin* "Anytime, my lady."

none of my female characters have made it past level 3. i've only played twice, and both were men. one for Morrigan and one for Leliana. i still need to play with a woman and romance Zev and Alistair though. all in good time.

That's more or less how it went with my first character (female Dwarf Noble). Of the 4 characters I've beaten the game with so far, 3 of them went for Leliana (the 4th avoided romance of any kind)...

2 of those 3 were female. Hell, my two remaining female characters will probably end up doing the same, as will at least one of the males.

My first character my rogue was skirt chasing scoundrel ...did the deed with Lelianna, Morrigan, became prince consort and got my life spared by morrigans ritual.  Second time through did less man __ring and went with Leliana and lived happly ever after by adventuring.  But maybe its just me but  that accent and voice make ya melt

Honestly I haven't been able to get my characters to romance Leliana. They always seem to like the fellas better. The wenches!
