Yes, they could grow to realize their "hate" is both petty and narrow-minded when they use it just as a really broad brush to paint unique individuals with, and an excuse to completely ignore the actual personalities of people they interact with.

I'm not saying that they hate Leliana and she's a great friend, it's just that the accent and obsessive Maker-talk don't really attract them.

Play different kinds of characters to romance her with, then? Ones that wouldn't mind the Maker talk or accent?

I am specifically creating a roguish scoundrel type for Leliana who is super optimistic about life, was thinking another Brosca... maybe a city elf, perhaps? Someone who is annoyingly perky, despite their hardship. That might work for Leli, right?

My latest city elf is certainly going to try. She's not as much with the human hating as my previous CEF's, and a relationship with Leliana is certainly a sweet and dizzy thing (much like Lel herself). 

For the record, a she-Brosca and Leliana are unbearably cute together. If the elf doesn't pan out, I'm going to re-roll a cheerful little thug for her.

Did the male for Morrigan, female for Alistair, male and female with Leliana and Zev.

I tried to romance her with my female dwarf noble since all my male characters tend to end up with Zevran. It was ok for a while but then I got too annoyed with her after trying to charm her made me break my own life rule “never agree to talk about shoes to gain another woman’s approval” so my dwarf became single after the tent scene.



One thing I noticed is that she didn’t give any kind of item like the others do… would that have happened later in the romance?

No, she doesn't give any gifts to my knowledge.

Ahh... Leli.... You can outright flirt with her if you're playing a male character and never trigger her romance. There is also one other instance where you can ask her to use her bard skills to seduce you but she refuses... lol

yea but being as I was in a romance/engaged to Alistair and I am a hetero female myself that was kinda creepy in a nug boiling/Glenn Close kind of way.

bah just because Leli got confused doesn't change my PC's orientation.  I still think she's got "Crazy stalker of innocent maidens" written all over her bugged dialogues.

I always ask Morrigan to cook but I would make her taste test each meal till I got her approval up.  Alistair's cooking just scares me...I wouldn't ask Sten.  I'd probably have to subsist on squab if Shayle had her way.  Wynne doesn't strike me as the domestically inclined.  Leliana and Zevran are both assassins so no telling WHAT would end up in my soup.  Oghren sounds like he drinks his meals.  Loghain would be a zombie if he did the cooking cause I always leave his cooling corpse on the landsmeet floor and I don't fancy brains in black butter.

So that leaves Morrigan I think since my PC never says whether she can cook or not (assuming not).
