Well, i want to be a Dalish elf, but i cannot decide whether to be male or female, i'd like to make male so i can romance Zevran, but as zevran stated, he prefers the slender build of females.

But if i decided to make a female, i'd end up romancing alistair, as i always do when i make female characters. x.x

I know the gender has no obvious impact on the game, but still.. i cannot decideeee. x.x

You have to be careful with Zevran. I accidentally got pulled into a relationship with him once even though I intended to court Leliana. He's sly that way.

I just started a female Dalish Elf. Somehow, she turned out looking like Jerri Ryan which I can definitely live with. She also starts out in that leather-bikini Dalish armour which I think looks so fabulous on a female character. You don't have to romance Alistair - Leliana is more than willing to get into the mix!

I couldn't really see romancing Leliana as a Dalish... after all, she's all about the Maker/Chantry/Etc, whereas Dalish are all "heretics" and such.

Well, you could make your Dalish female and then roleplay her this way -- she's attracted to Zevran because he's the only elf in the party and his mother was Dalish. She's too shy of humans to be interested in Alistair, but Zevran has a link to her people. That's how I played mine.

Yeah, make a female Dalish and roleplay her as mistrustful of humans for whatever reason. Zevran is a charmer, he should catch her eye.

I made a Dalish female once who was the understanding sort, was in love with Alistair, then somehow ended up with Leliana watching her sleep...Those damn rogues are very sly.

Maybe your dalish wants to figure out how to crush her spirit, her faith in the Maker, etc and gets close to her for that reason. she then finds out that Lel isn't necessarily the preachy, arrogant templar type and starts falling for her? that's more or less what my dalish will be thinking, I haven't ironed out all the kinks though.

That happened to me too. My character had Alistair romanced and then the next thing I knew I completed Leliana's personal quest and she started confessing love and asking my character to pick between the two of them. I thought I had picked the dialogue options to NOT romance her (I played the HNF). Not that I minded, I almost picked her. Sly rogues indeed.

My dalish female fell for Alistair, and I kind of see it as not being too against her character. I mean, I role-played so that she felt her clan had deserted her, and then all she had was the grey wardens. Then the grey wardens all got killed, so the only person she really had left was Alistair. And tho she's still pretty racist against humans as a whole, just because of everything the two of them have been through together, she stopped seeing him as a human.



I think its a totally viable option for a dalish elf to fall for alistair. Like he said - the one good thing about a blight is how it brings people together.

Considering Antiva is the Dragon Age equivalent to Spain... yes, he does sound like Antonio

Yeah, I'm going this route.  Zev's too damn cool.

Although I'm finding it impossible to make a good looking Dalish female face. 

Faces look COMPLETELY different in character creation than they do once you start the game.  Grrrrr....

Also, it's so frakking hard to get a Dalish female's cheeks to not be concave!  Looks awful.  Not to mention there's no "expression" options, so you look eternally depressed.
