Once the news is known, I predict the following will happen:
1/3 will claim the news is the greatest thing ever (regardless of what it is, it could simply be pictures of Bioware devs eating toast)
1/3 will claim the news is the worst thing ever (it could be that ME3 will be released in 2 weeks and has been in development for 2 years and is 3x longer than ME2)
1/3 won't care as they're still making posts in the Tali thread.
What is the other 1% going to do?
The other 1% will prefer this turn of events, Jeff.
You fail so hardcore in this case.
I have 3 people in front of me. John, Joe, James.
John likes pie
Joe likes cake
James like neither
So, I can say:
1/3 likes pie
1/3 likes cake
1/3 likes neither
I have accounted for everyone. But to prove that you were incorrect in assuming that somehow I was relating 1/3 to mean a % and not a hard fact number (i.e. 1 out of 3)
33% will like X
33% will like Y
33% will like Z
In that case, that would be 99%, thus missing a 1%
But what in the case of 33.33%?
Then that'd be 99.99%, thus reducing it to a small .01%
Again, that same 1/3 can be broken down even further (according to your assumptions as to what I was somehow foolling myself into thinking incorrectly) in that:
1/3 = 33.333333%
So, now we're at: 99.999999% So, now your 1% is reduced to 0.000001%
Want me to continue showing that you were wrong in assuming that 1/3 = 99% when you add up all the thirds? Because like the numerical version of pie (sorry, don't know the ASCII code for it), some assume that pie = 3.14, when in fact, it goes on for a very, very long time afterwards, but like your assumption that 1/3 = 33%, when in fact, that it could go on into infiity.
But that's not what I was saying and you either knew it when you posted and were looking for an argument, or you didn't know better. Which is the case? It's easier to admit one than the other. Which will you chose?
Joker: She tries very hard.
