AWW, don't be like that. If this global warming calamity thing ever kicks in we're all coming up there.

Kay I'll be waiting at the border with my pitchfork....*wink*

well, for instance a community expansion package like for NWN 1
would have qualified as epic,
not the tiny stripewise selling of the band members' 15 years old undies
instead of releasing a new album ;)

Wow! I can see the people at BioWare talking about this in the planning phase.

"You know how we will show our customers that we DO care about them?"

"Give them a patch for our buggy games??"

"No, give them the chance to maybe get some free stuff if they're lucky!"

"Um, that's not something they're gonna like, or even look forward to."

"Then we'll put a count down up on every site we have!! That'll get them interested!!"

What and EPIC FAIL!

Where's our patch?!

Ah yes, upon reading the contest rules, us Europeans are not even considered. An epic community event and doesn't include Europe. Thanks and there I was thinking my 5450 'tokens' would be useful. Can only agree whole heartily with others here, you launch a community event for just the US? Thats what 30% of your market? Poorly done Bioware, poorly done. You can stick your tokens where the sun doesn't shine.

This has little to do with Bioware snubbing people and lots to do with a nation or state's respective laws on these kind of activities.

So ...SINCE WHEN is Canada NOT in North America........EA???  (this is their doing..you know that)

So, now your American, eh? :D

He's canadian, of course he's american when it suits him.

Also, BW isn't really a canadian company anymore, is it? Rather it's a division of an American company.

I know she is and i was just having some fun with her  as a N. American and i am pretty sure she knew it as well.

Maybe so, but really they can't have been so naive to not know what would happen after stating it's a community event, i'm from england, don't really care for this as i have no tokens and was at work when it started, what bothers people, like with awakening, the hype for this was misleading and shows bad signs on what happening to the company.

It has all to do with BioWare snubbing people since they could just have chosen a worldwide event instead of choosing an event type that is only eligble to a small percent to the community.

sure but, you know, they could have not announced it as an "EPIC COMMUNITY EVENT" and just as "bazaar for american fans" and maybe planned something alongside that would work for europe?
