Even more epic fail since I could give a rats ass about this "BioWare Bazaar".

Someone call me when BioWare actually does something that has something to do with a game. Then I'll be interested.

Eligibility. This Contest is only open to residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia with the exception of residents of Florida and New York, who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry and who had Internet access as of March 15, 2010. Employees of Electronic Arts Inc., and its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, advertising, promotion and publicity agencies ("Sponsor and its agents") and the immediate family members and persons living in the same household of each are not eligible. Contest is void where prohibited, restricted or taxed by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

Lets note here that they reward the United State fans only and not even all of them. It's more then just Epic fails. It sends a beautiful message to everyone saying only the United state resident are worth their attention.

Actually even funnier I could buy all that for the grand total of what they have listed and still not put a dent in my savings account.

Regardless, I'm not interested in any of it.

You have got to be kidding me...

"This contest is only open to residents of the 50 (emphasis on 50) United States, with the EXCEPTION of residents of Florida and New York."

So basically this contest is open to all the residents in the 48 United States.

If this contest was going to be so exclusive, why have a contest at all? This is going to attract a LOT of hate to Bioware from the people that are not included.

So Bioware, a Canadian based company, made a contest that excludes Canadians? GG Bioware.

I'm greatly disappointed with you, Bioware. Where's the love for you non-US fans?

And a scavenger hunt/auction? How does that show your appreciation for us? You're just making us work for stuff which we probably won't win anyway. That isn't fun, nor is it rewarding, it's just irritating.

Back to cherry picking DA:O/DA:A mods from Dragon Age Nexus and waiting on ME2 DLC for me.

Sorry the Europeans got excluded from this....whatever this is.

Sadly as always - Europeans don't get a slice of the pie/cake and we can only wish we would be able to get a unique something.

Then again... there's only so few of us from Europe... we shouldn't count, aye? *bangs head on table*

Guys.

Have you thought that maybe Bioware didn't plan this? I mean, they are a Canadian company... it sounds like this is some marketing thing... probably EA.

I was looking forward to something big, all i got was a competition I couldn't enter even though I followed Bioware for a while playing their games, why bother bringing up all the hype? Not all your fans live in 48 US states.

even if its not biowares fault that laws might prevent international contests and such things they should have thought about the consequences of watering everyones mouth worldwide for a week...
this is not some "hey i would have liked it better that way or that" flame of some game development but a punch in the face for everyone not able to participate...
"celebrate biowares 15th birthday"?! have fun with that...i made a very big and awesome tasting cake...but you know..only for people not living in the u.s.

btw i just saw i have 5950 tokens for the contest... make an icon for that so i can print them out and burn it *sour*

BioWare and EA, both. Share the glory, share the fail.

This really is pretty funny. Well, it would be if it weren't so sad. And they even timed it in a way that seemd to suggest "hey, this is not US only, since the countdown doesn't stop in the middle of the night for everyone else".

Exactly, it is not so much about who is responsible for this (BW or EA) but it is setting a sign, in which Europeans come out as 2nd class customers once more. It is a constant frustration, at least for me.

And yes, for calling it an 'Epic Event'... lol, well maybe for you but not for me.

Yeah I think this is a co-branded marketing deal between EA and several companies and the BioWare social environment is basically the platform for it.

I still cannot stress how disinterested in this I am. If I wanted my PC to be customized to look like a game box cover I'd take it to a case modder and have it done. The rest of the stuff is just fluff.
