Maybe it's just me, but isn't clicking another person's link counter-productive? I mean, each person you give more tokens is another person you'll be going up against in the auction. And what's to stop someone coming up with an automated way to get visits to their URL? This whole thing seems kind of flawed.

The problem with that thinking is why should I click your link if you won't click mine? Eventually everyone starts thinking that way and no one gets any points. At least this way someone that actually posts on the forums is likely to get most of the items.
As for your other question, it is based on unique IPs, but there are probably ways to get around that anyway.

I'm sure its terribly flawed seeing as you can buy unique ip hits for like 17$ for like 10,000 i hope to god they block that some how
