I'm waiting on a statement from Bioware to the extent of:

"To all our supporters left out of the community in this event, we will award you with 2000 free tokens as a sign of good will to show that we care."

So you can shove them up you rear end.

For me it's the first and last time I'll get trolled by EA/Bioware.

Another disappointment like this and I'm done here.

I may as well go after torrents than supporting this kind of crap.

Nothing quite like ostracizing large parts of the 'community'. Well, Bioware usually listens to its fans so I imagine they have to do something for the rest of the community, or perhaps that's just wishful thinking...

The fact that this has reached 100+ pages makes me smile.

It sucks for everyone locked out of this event. I live in a VIP country USA, though lol at neighbors in NY who can't participate either.

What I still can't get my head around is how noone at EA-Bioware saw this coming. Do they really not know their community at all? (Oh wait, we aren't a part of it xD) This would always be the reaction after all that build up, and it could have so easily been avoided, or at least mitigated to a large degree.
Boggles the mind.

Wow, ton of idiotic QQ in this thread. Kindly get over yourselves and realize that your whining isn't going to draw TOR beta or any other major (in your eyes) announcement any sooner.

@Petipas- You know, i like you now xD ahaha

@Robfathah- We are pissed because it was MEANT to be a community event and they put all that hype into it...and then just cut out a HEAP (as you can see) of people...no warning, no "****, we are sorry". They simply cut us out and haven't said or done anything to help make things better (which makes things worse, in effect)

So Chris, this means that Bioware does not consider the people those who bought your games that are in Asia, Europe, Australia and the rest of the world that you guys excluded to be part of your community even though we bought your games and DLC? Wow that means we are third rate customers then?

I think those of us who are being left out of the "community" deserve the next dlc free. Would make up for the epic fail

and..watch yourselves, bad mouth EA, and find your EA games not working

Can't you guys use tokens on other stuff? Or did you pre-buy them in anticipation for the "event."

when will you lamers finally realize that GOVERNMENT REGULATION is to blame?? it's not even legal to have contests and giveaways in countries like Canada.

I've never seen so much nerd rage over free cups and T-shirts.

You've spent all day around here saying that you're going to pirate their games and do whatever other nonsense.

Why are you still here?

Well that would be really nice, thing is we're still waiting on some sort of explanation, they could say they forgot to specify it was US only, they could say the tokens can be used for other stuff later, they could say a lot of things but they haven't.

Could be they'll have an early meeting tomorrow....

"Well gents and ladies, we've fracked up, what shall we do about it?"  I'd just like some sort of damage control, or at least you know communication to their community, if we're worth a 'contest' we're worth talking to? :?

Yes you can have contest and giveaways in Canada.  I am from Canada and I say you can.

And so does google.

Google results

 Results

giveaways canada

Sadly, It's not the first time I've been this disappointed in BioWare...

Again, you poor minded simplton. If the regulations were the reason, then they would have known BEFORE they begun this epic AMERICAN event.
As such, they had the responsibility to inform their customers that this was the case.

You fail to see the point that if it was not a screw up on BioWare behalf, they would have posted something already...but they haven't.
Thereby proving their own guilt.
