Bioware aren't responding for one of two reasons, or possibly, both:
The first is that they do not wish to address the community whilst tempers are high. The community is angry, and anything they say (even if it's intended to placate people) will just end in more angry posts. As much as I’m sure both Chris and Stanley sympathise with the situation, they’re powerless to change it and are more than likely not in any position to respond in any way as advocates for Bioware as a whole.
So, when you take this whole situation in to consideration and look at Biowares' history with such matters, we've got two chances of receiving a response at this point: somewhere between stuff-all and none. Don’t expect one.

Soooo, basically, you're saying that it *is* too much to ask. It still seems like a terrible PR blunder to let people rage on and on, instead of saying "We're sorry, guys, we didn't think it would be this much of a deal, we're going to try to think of ways to make it up to you". My hope is the heads at BioWare have seen this PR nightmare and went up to Bid Daddy EA and said We told you this was a mistake. Look at the hell you unleashed. Let us fix this OUR way, or else you just signed our death warrats. Maybe come tomorrow they'll come back and stuff like Kasumi and other DLC will be free now and an apology for EA royal SNAFU.
Its highly unlikely but it'd be nice.

In Alberta Canada and Montreal Quebec it's the middle of the night. I would venture out and assume that it's similar in Austin Texas also.
Also with the behavior on the forums why would they respond. It's only going to create and cause more backlash at this point in time.

Kasumi and further DLC hasnt been released yet. The only DLC thats really cost money is the alternate costume pack. The Cerberus Network is still free for new game purchase, and thus everything that comes with it.
I think people also took me to literal with the use of DLC as only an example of a way to correct the error caused.
