Well when they say its a countdown for an epic community event and the majority of the community finds ount that is excluded from it, people have a right to complain about it. They could announce it as partial US community event or something..

Sad but true.
You know what's worse? Given how businesses usually work, I'm quite sure the people who are now in charge of this mess aren't the same people that did the mistake. This smells of "stupid bosses doing their thing instead of letting experts do their job". Really, anybody with half a brain could imagine what would happen.

It actually brought the community closer together really.  Maybe it is a huge marketing success.  If they are smart they will countdown to something better than an auction and include everyone who was left out.
