Any other thing not going into right that direction is just another insult.

If they'd have done that in the first ten pages, that would've worked wonders, really.

But instead of utilizing common sense, it's much more apropos for a business to hold some meetings about it first. The PR implications of issuing a simple apology have to be discussed at great length before simply being given out all haphazardly.

I'm not in the affected areas but I just can't justify signing up for Twitter to get something I probably already brought from the Bioware store.

In any case, I'd like to see how they will try to turn this into something positive (if they will do something, that is).

As things stand now, this has cost them some sales. Yesterday there were quite a few who not only stated that they'd never buy a BioWare game again, and some of them even stated they would pirate their games instead.

I was at first not willing to buy Awakening because it destroyed the continuity of my Warden's story (Ultimate Sacrifice ending), but was like "Meh, might as well buy it because it's BioWare." yesterday. Needless to say, this little incident has managed to convince me to do otherwise.

So neither Awakening nor any Ostagar for me after all... oh well.
