Well at least this has created a new meme

what meme?

Maybe "I used to be a part of the community, now I'm just..."

Dont forget all the Biofail pictures, like Bioware World Map, and all that. Those are certain to make its way onto 4Chan somehow.

My bf made the BioWare map, it's on the first pages ahahahaha.

AND, on our fb group www.facebook.com/pages/Ah-yes-the-comunity-BioWare/112705208746425

You two do this as a couple?

You... troll... for romance sake?

Why... can I be the third wheel in this relationship?

Or... ?

:?

Why would i troll? :/  social.bioware.com/1575382/ You can check the posts if you want haha.
It's even funnier cause he's Canadian.

And you are welcome anytime, as long as you are american non resident in florida or NY.

*cough*

Sucks to be british right now.

It NEVER sucks to be British.

We have Jonathan Ross, Marmite, Fish and Chips, Birmingham, The X Factor, Blackpool Pier, Satan Simon, Mr Blobby, The Channel Tunnel, THE M1, The Flying Scotsman, A Question of Sport, DOCTOR BEEPING WHO, Bill Bailey, Four Puffs and a Piano, TUBTHUMPING, The Three Lions, THE IRISH (they are epic!), Gordon Brown, STING (= in your face Argentina), Maggy Thatcher, THE FAULKLANDS (again, in your face Argentina xD), Gavin and Stacey, MONTY MOTHER OF GODING PYTHON... etc etc so on and so forth.

We DON'T have community. That's something we don't have. Apparently we're not, "socialist," enough for community.

*frog marches to the national anthem*

Failure to mention Pink Floyd while including Gordon Brown and Maggy Thatcher = failure.
Or Derren Brown and his mind powers.

I think at this point, most of us realize that we aren't going to get a response. Had this actually gotten even a slightly positive response from the masses, some mod or staff member would have already said something in here - at this point they are just avoiding it like the plague and letting us vent till we die out.

Even as an American - one who realizes they were excluded because of State law as opposed to International shipping issues or what ever else - I take great offense to how it was handle, and more over how it is still being handled, without even the smallest of apologies or acknowledgment.

I for one am going to keep my signature - with great thanks to Starscream723 for creating it along with many others - as a mere reminder of the day and what happened. Sadly without this horrible event I don't think half the bonding that went on would have ever happened, so in a way this community fail was an odd success...

But at least now we know where their loyalties lie - if they were so fan oriented, at least half as much as they say they are, some response could have been made after 24 hours. Stand by the Revolution - Don't let the complaints die out!

I guess the key is next time Bioware tries to hype news, just have really low expectations...I mean really low.

Doesn't exactly work, I was expecting Epic Fail, and I was right... But I didn't expect that the Epic Fail would excluded anyone, and that's the part that outraged people.

Seriously, how many of you would've actually taken part in the Bioware Bazaar had it have been available to you?

I'm not in the affected areas but I just can't justify signing up for Twitter to get something I probably already brought from the Bioware store.

Hmm, would you mind marrying or adopting a healthy European guy?

There are no healthy European guys!!!!

Well... there's the Dutch. But they're not... you know... "equipped." ?

I am Dutch and I can assure you, I am most certain well equipped. Posted Image

Ithankyou.

Though if I can knock that rubbish together in 10 minutes, really, surely BW could have come up with something by now.

Like a God damn helmet toggle option for Mass Effect 2!? Seriously which idiot at BioWare is screwig around with the helmet options in their games!? Always off in cut-scenes in Dragon Age: Origins, not possible to ever take off in Mass Effect 2. This idiot needs to loose his job.

To all those not part of the 48 states: I know the ignorance and incompetence of BioWare's marketing staff is hilarious, but try not to find it too insulting.

As a member of these 48 states, I can tell you I don't give a **** about being able to trade in "points" for a BioWare bumper sticker. This is not an "epic event" to feel envious of (although I guess any exclusion can be insulting). But, if I could trade spots with one of you Europeans, trust me, I would. Because what we're seeing here is ALL too American.

Agreed.

2nd, 3rd or 10th this.

I may be an American that can take part in this, but the way it was done was just shoddy all around.  I really hope this was a big EA thing and Bioware tried to resist pushing the countdown button and the like.

What amazes me is that no memeber of staff at Bioware/EA queried the logic of advertising a US only promotion with a countdown, and labelled as an 'Epic Community event'! Surely there are people who work in this company with enough common sense to realise that this would just annoy a whole lot of customers.

Why oh why did no one have the sense to add to the counter/epic community event banner, a simple disclaimer stating that the event is only available to members within the US??? Thus avoiding this fallout! Seriously Bioware/EA need to sack some people, becase they are clearly to dumb to be earning a wage.

Maybe it is all early build up for an April Fools Joke!

A very poorly thought out joke, if you ask me.  Cause now if they go, "HA HA!  Gotcha!  Oh man you should see your face!"  It'll turn into a, "Ha ha ha...ha.... run....RUN!"  for them.  It's one thing to make a joke, it's completely different to make a huge portion of their fanbase feel alienated, then to tell us it's all a joke at our expense.
