If I create a separate topic for this it would only get closed by Woo, so Ill ask here.
I got a few thousand tokens, can I donate them to a member of the "community" or not?
And yes this is a serious question.
No you can't.
For the love of...
WHAT IS THE POINT OF GIVING THEM TO US THEN??
I guess because it was too much effort to only give the 48'ers points, so they just give them to all and ignore those who can't use them.

How are they supposed to determine who is a resident of the USA and who is not? Besides, that would mean more work for them and if they had no problem with additional work they would have included more than just one country.

Maybe they keep it open till they get one really, truly positive comment about the Bazaar.
Soooo, we're alright for the next couple of months in this thread.

What is taking them so long to acknowledge this thread. Its been over a day, plus its a stickied thread and theres over 4000 comments.
Moderation 101:
Closing down ALL topics relating to an issue gives people with said issue nowhere to post, resulting in a steady stream of new topics being started about the issue, which are in turn closed down, so the cycle continues.
Leaving ONE topic open results in fewer new topics regarding the issue at hand (the few that are created are locked and redirected) resulting in one, focussed, easily-ignored topic.

BioWare is EA so they are to blame because they are EA what is so hard to understand about that
"BioWare therefore became a unit of EA, but retained its own branding."
"The growth of the RPG/MMO Group as part of Electronic Arts in 2008+ has resulted in three additional studios being added to the BioWare Group outside BioWare's original home base in Edmonton. The first, located in Austin, Texas and headed by industry veterans Gordon Walton and Richard Vogel, was created to work on the Star Wars: The Old Republic MMORPG project. Both the studio and the project were announced on March 13, 2006. On March 2, 2009, BioWare announced it had opened a new studio in Montreal, Quebec to assist with existing projects as necessary.[7]. In 2009 Mythic Entertainment, based in Fairfax, Virginia, became part of the RPG/MMO Group, later being renamed BioWare Mythic in early 2010."
This is from the Wikipedia site.
So I'm not sure if we could call BioWare a strictly Canadian company....

I say let's do a tactical withdrawel except some Infitrators with assassination cloak enabled. And if that doesn't work ... bring on the Vanguards!

I say these things because, we assume that Bioware can basically do whatever they want to, but they answer to EA because thats where the publishing money comes from, and for a lack of better words, thats who they work for.
When your boss tells you to do somthing, you do it! I agree that the rest of the world should have been included, and I find it flat out odd that Canada, especially, wasn't included. When people say "oh they didn't have to put that on their website" well yes they did, typically the contest is completely designed and packaged before it's implemented, including all the marketing tools that go along with it.
Bioware more than likely knew this would happen, they knew that there would be repercussions, I mean why would you want to exclude anyone from the community? It's obvious where this came from, and my reason for really disliking where gaming is going (publishing comapnies). EA and Activision both have terrible reputations because all they look for is the bottom dollar, and not the best interest of the comsumer. Bioware is a company made of people who just want to make great games for gamers, by gamers.
Unfortunately thats where we are heading. We the gamers could stand against it by becoming active in the gaming industry. What if we were share holders of BW and each on of us were paying 50-100$ per year inorder to ensure independence of the company and the right to vote?
Wow. That's a interesting idea. I'd go for that.
Everybody would win out of this. BW gets the cash needed and we would have someone to represent us on the decisions table. No ea no activision.

I got an idea. How about we all just keep creating threads in the forums, about this bazaar being unfair. let the first 10 pages be nothing but slander for this bazaar. Sure they will be locked. Keep it civil and just open a new one. No cursing or anything.
If we ruin there forum for a while, maybe they will just give an answer.
Or probably start temp, maybe permanent, ban all the people that do. Cause that's what I would do.

The only problem with this is that EA already Owns Bioware. Therefore the only way to have any vested interest in Bioware is to buy stock in EA.

These are the people who were stupid enough to think that the marketing for the Bazaar was a good idea. If they are that stupid then they're probably stupid enough to still think that it was a good idea, and to think that we're all just a bunch of whiners that are upset because we can't play in their auction, that we whine about free dlc, that we whine about pretty much anything, and hence we should be ignored.
Or
They're all in commitee blaming each other for this farce, trying to decide who should aplologise, and how to word such an apology and whether such an apology would constitute an admission of guilt in any legal action etc...
Or
Perhaps they are thinking of having a COUNTDOWN to an apology.
