I'm going to make a long comment, and I know it's going to get lost immediately and forgotten, but I wanted to say my piece.



It's great that Bioware is 15. It's great that they want to give back to their fans by doing something nice for them. However, when you look at the way this Bioware Bazaar is set-up, it rewards the person who spams their link the most. Basically, they are trading the hope of a few glimmering prizes, that everyone is under the illusion of being attainable for them, for advertisement. In some forms, this can be ok, but the gross negligence on their part is that they've ignored over 95% of the rest of the world, which contains many Bioware fans, whom I have no doubt are just as devout as their American fans in the great 50 48 states.



They've placed the importance of advertising over the importance of giving all fans an equal chance to win cool swag. In my mind, this cements the influence that EA has had. While they may not have dictated game design choices, they have modified the culture, if so ever slightly at first. What was a group that felt completely accessible to the fan has acquired a calculating element, and that is a difficult thing for fans to come to terms with, including me.



Bioware, this should have been a giveaway, not a spamming contest.

Its odd really, you don't actually have to buy any of the games to get all the subsequent points. The terms and agreement section states that you can "Fillout a survey having all the answers correct" and get the full point value of owning the game, but you can either own it, or fill it out, not both. Though of course you have to read through the stupid thing to get that.
