I doubt they will change the contest just because of what it is and how it's set up. Though I would not be surprised if Bioware comes up with SOMTHING to make up for the oversight ( wishful thinking?) that occured with those who were not included. Perhaps either a similar event? or maybe somthing unique for a game ( for free of course).
I just refuse to sell Bioware short, and they are limited in their capcaity to make certain decisions, however I can see them developing somthing regional for those not involved to attempt to make amends.
Please... don't be so naive...
I try not to man, but I merely speak from my own experience. I've worked in large corporations, and decsions that are made by those at the top, even those that negatively impact people who work there get made every day. I cannot say with full certainty that Bioware didn't have involvement, but I give them the benefit of the doubt based on my own history with the company and purchasing their products/support/community. It just seams so "not them" it makes me want to believe that.
Actually to a degree if Bioware is a subsidiary of EA and EA is the one whom is in charge of the promotional contest, Bioware would have no choice to follow through with the implementation of the contest as much as they may or may not disagree with it. Company Mandate does not exlude events such as this. So I think you are right to a certain degree. It would also explain why Bioware has not responded yet as they could be under issue not to.
I wonder what that confrence call was/is going/is currently like.
