Thus is why I dispise Activison with so much passion. I really respect Infinity Ward, and I feel that they got beat up in the last installment of CoD, thus my departure from the CoD series :-(

I'm not upset by the contest itself, however exclusive it may be...I'm upset that a weeklong countdown resulted in such a lackluster, anti-climactic reveal. I mean really...how about a special weapon for Dragon Age and Mass Effect with the same name or something cool? How about Bioware announcing they refuse to take part in Gamestop's BS pre-order exclusives? Anything would have been cooler.

So, if and/or when we ask BioWare to somehow use our tokens for charity, what exactly should we ask of them?

a. Convert every token from every illegibile member into a cent, then donate that money to Child's Play.

b. Allow the currently illegible members to participate in the auctions anyway, and donate whatever they win to Child's Play.

c. Give one illegible member all (or maybe half) the tokens of all other illegible members, and let him or her participate in the auction to donate whatever he or she wins to Child's Play.



Of course willing eligible community members such as Kerridan Kaiba will also be allowed to donate their tokens to charity.

Funny, I got banned a few months ago from EVERY EA owned game I had (for 7 days) for a post I made on this forum.
Now people are getting upset because they can't participate in an auction.

And these two statements relate how exactly?

I just find it amusing that I got banned for 7 days, thought nothing of it, and a bunch of wienies who couldn't get in a contest are upset, crying foul and raging. Teen angst much? Lol.
This is a common practice in contests, have any of you ever read the fine print to one?

Oh sorry!  I forgot about them and that whole Infinity Ward drama.  Yeah lets offload some blame to them.  This is obviously an attempt to de-stablize the forums in an effort to funnel gamers into off-shore accounts in the pending chaos!
