I'm on the fence about this whole thing, I just see it as an interesting social experiment. What was once a loyal fanbase has turned into something quite similar to the glittering gems of hatred known as the fallout community.

Black isle, but the point i'm making is that this group runs parrallel to a similiar situation that developed when fallout 3(bethesda)was announced. I'm assuming most of the fanbase came here post-Kotor, or even Post-mass effect. I am one of the fallout community, one of those "glittering gems of hatred" I see a similiar situation happening right now, arising from something that could be considered quite trivial. I shudder to think whata poorly made sequel developed by another company would bring.

You guys are creating banners and such, but shouldn't your hate be more directed at the fact that this was just a lame announcement all together?  I guess it's too much to wish for a baldur's gate sequel.
