I have not seen ANYTHING "constructive" about this thread.
It's in there... hidden away...

Not even close enough to match a counter offer from EA or to be able to purchase Bioware.contact_eric wrote...
It's probably an insane amount of money, but I wonder how much it would cost for all the people on this forum to pool together and buy Bioware from EA? That'd probably solve 99% of the problems right there.

Stop complaining. Bioware is giving away free prizes and you guys are mad just because your state/country isn't participating?

Anything constructive to add jigpig, or are you obsessing on butthurt?
Not that I agree with Jigpig's methods... but did you really just say:
"constructive"?

Nothing but "srsly epic fail bioware" phrased in 30 different ways by sixty different people is hardly anything "constructive."
People in this thread act like this is the be all, end all.

So i am to understand that Canada which is basically America without the guns, and has a bioware office like even allow Alberta to join in or even Edmonton and area so ya thanks for the outside thought Canadians still play games here even if that means in an igloo swigging beatrs on the back of a Mountie playing hockey EA .
Canada has guns.
They just don't have GUN VIOLENCE like we do.
But, anyway... I suspect the bazaar is limited to meet the most restrictive export regulations on all of the 'prizes'. So if, say, one of the computing devices is prohibited for export that eliminates everything outside north america, and when you tally all the restrictions up you get the 48 states selected.
I'm not saying it was a good idea to go forward under those restrictions, but I bet it sounded like a good idea when they started and then the legalities snowballed on them. And no, I am NOT defending them, just trying to figure out how things got so FUBARed...

a. Convert every token from every illegibile member into a cent, then donate that money to Child's Play.
b. Allow the currently illegible members to participate in the auctions anyway, and donate whatever they win to Child's Play.
c.
Give one illegible member all (or maybe half) the tokens of all other
illegible members, and let him or her participate in the auction to
donate whatever he or she wins to Child's Play.

Ok I'm going to be honest and realistic. I wouldn't expect a response from bioware other than an apology. Do the math. Dragon age and ME2 have sold about 5 million copies together. I'll be liberal and say 50 thousand people have complained about the countdown fail. You represent only 1% of the population. Maybe a few percent higher for the ones that own both games. Not every international player is mad about this. Spamming the forums with lolcats and such will get you nothing.

I just with they would at least make some response, instead of just ignoring everyone.Jaclyn_L wrote...
I don't get why some of you are going to other forums to badmouth BioWare, or why you expect some sort of substantial gift. If anything, all BioWare really owes us is a small apology for their mishandled marketing/contest debacle. I don't think raging and badmouthing the company is going to get us anywhere at all. Nor does it prove that we deserve any sort of response. Maturity is usually repaid in kind.
But they're so funny to look at...aksoileau wrote...
