And now it's all over, a nostalgic look back over the epicness of this thread:

with credit to all those whose contributions went into the video.

You all made a disappointing evening so much more entertaining.

One thing... Seconds before the message of the doctors I've mailed 326 press releases about this issue. Should I write them that it was a April 1rst joke? ;)

Just kidding. ;)

Time for an apology from me as well. The BioWare Bazaar IS a cool event and, if we had been able to get it working as we intended, potentially Epic. Yes, not nearly enough people are able to be part of it (see Ray & Greg's apology), but the event is cool. Where I went wrong is in how we marketed it to you and for that I apologize. We used the word "Epic" before we had proven that it was. Sorry. We also used the Countdown timer to generate interest. In hindsight, this allowed rampant speculation which caused disappointment. Again, sorry. While I won't promise we will never use a timer like it again, I can promise we will make sure that such a timer is worthy of the interest it will attract.

So, for those who are taking part in the BioWare Bazaar, thanks for your interest. We are having a great response and people are having fun with it. And for those who cannot be part of the BioWare Bazaar, my apologies as well. As Ray & Greg indicated, we do have more events coming this year to celebrate our 15th Anniversary, including the one specifically for those who were excluded from the Bazaar.  We do greatly value our Community. All of it, no matter where you are from and we're going to prove it.

Hmm, I think them US folks best start firing up the barbeque...

Nah, I'm just kidding. =]

Anyone want to speculate what it might be? Maybe we'll all sit around a big digital campfire and swap warstories?

If necessary, I will prove that I am indeed well equipped. Image IPB

~Snicker~ Sure! Free love for everybody!

I thought I couldn't love you any more than before...and now you've managed to amaze me even more by putting Soma in your sig. Image IPB

Also, I think this one is quite brilliant:

Edit: Holy **** @ the Ray Myzuka sig. I'd advice you to not use that one unless you want to risk being banned.

Messing around with my sig now but I love my Castlevania! The last one is hard as hell but I'm going to make it through!

Now... just stop for one minute and think of those brave men and women that did not make it to this final step... (and will be insanely confused...)

If I need to spam BW links or join twitter then count me out. But if others have no problem with it then so be it. ;)

Yeah I won't be taking part in the link-spamming debauchery either. I don't link anything unless I think it's either informative or fun. Won't go anywhere near facebook either.

Twitter I might consider though. Maybe.

Order of Ecclesia, right? Haven't gotten that one yet, no store here appears to have it. What I've seen of it does look awesome. Lords of Shadow for the 360/PS3 also seems promising, which is rare (unheard of even) for a 3D Castlevania.

It's 1:30 am here, I'm going to bed. See ya!

Mr.Priestly just got alot of my respect.

Definetly agree that not being afraid to stand up and admit a mistake deserves respect. Kinda puts the icing on the cake.Image IPB

This EPIC thread was a lot of fun for me.

So here's one from a while back that was so hilarious to me that I actually bookmarked it:
obvious troll topic

It's not a contest/spam, I just lmao when I read it. For those of you who don't go to bed yet.
Goodnight
PS keeping my sigs

Whoa, did that guy just get ninja'd out of this topic?

Anyhow, despite the disappointment of yesterday, I have very much enjoyed being a part of the non-community with you all (well, most of you).

I hope to enjoy chatting with you even more when those future events come around, this time as part of the community!  Image IPB

Goodnight everybody!

I need a new sig. lol

Anyway, I'm pleasantly surprised by this response.

It takes a lot to admit a mistake.

Best community event ever.

Of course they did. Makes perfect sense.

Sure it does.

I am facepalming at all the morons that are currently going all "I am part of the community again!" and "Thanks for the corporate stock excuse, Biwoare!  You totally have my supoprt now!".

I, for one, just wanted an apology, nothing more.

So I really don't give a rats ass if their explanation of the 'why' is a bit rickety. All I care about is that they've stated they were sorry that they overhyped the whole thing, giving us bad expectations, and that they plan to do more events than just this one, at least one of which we'll be able to participate in.

For me that's case closed regarding the 'rage about the bazaar' chapter. That doesn't mean I'll forget about it, at least not until the next event, when we'll see if they can do better...

Bioware dudes: This reveal was so anticlimatic. Plus, aren't you all like in another country and stuff? Shouldn't you like like other countries and patronize fans other than us good old Americans? I feel sorry for those guys, other countries are cool. Support other countries! Give them love!I hope EA put you up to this. Given the ME2 account linky thing, the DAO DLC fail thing, an apparently issue-ridden and rushed-to-production cash grab expansion to DAO and this, our love is crashing, Bioware, just about augering in.
