Ok.. Do you some of you get this angry when your favorite band doesn't throw a concert in your area? Calm down kiddies. Not even a big deal.

It's more like if a band announces an Epic World Tour, advertises it at major venues around the world, but then doesn't play those venues, and only actually tours some parts of the USA.

Nobody minds a band doing a US Tour. However, people don't like having their expectations deliberately built up and then crapped upon from a very great height. Go figure.

Yes, Pirate their games for Bioware's transgressions!  Strike them down with your hate!

Uh oh. I'm not gonna start pirating B's games because of a free polo shirt even tho I do want one. :P
We are kinda used to this anyway (netflix I'm looking at you).

Right about now, if this would have been "Hug a fellow ME2 player and make pictures of it" event, it would have been a WAY better idea than this ;)

Yeah... no actually that sounds like a terrible thing to hide behind a counter.

Bioware should have left the timer until April 1 (12 midnight) and announced "Nothing, Get Out" for their epic announcement.

Or that ... although I like my idea better ^^

Btw, anyone wanna bet that gucomics is going to make a strip about this?

So, how do you think Bioware will react to all this backlash?

1.) Do nothing, cause that's how little they think of non-Americans

2.) Announce another separate Bioware Bazaar for Canada & Europe

3.) Make the current Bazaar Worldwide

4.) Announce a totally different event for Canada & Europe at a later date

5.) Bioware: "Er...uh...April Fools...?"

6) Ban hammer

sigh... yes that's probably a likely scenario :/

I am from Hungary, and I don't give a *** about this absurdity, but it is very funny, how Bioware managed to ****** off the majority of the forum members, and transformed the forum into pure rage. Congratulations to you, Bioware!

Epic troll of this year so far, it's lovely.

PS: Hungary won the Dragon Age community tournament, so you guys are epic win!

Number 1. Because that is the way they always do things. If they screw up then there is silence. ;)

...let me get this right.

People came up with the idea for these tokens and contests, the countdown clock and the words "Epic Community Event"?

Then they didn't consider what the hell would happen when a great big chunk of the aforementioned "Community" found out the the whole thing had a giant sized "NOT YOU" attached to it?

Didn't think about maaaybe setting up concurrent contests? Something? Anything?

Genius. Utter genius.

What makes me sad is to be considered as "out of the community". Yeah, I'm kind of castless...

Sure we can't blame Bioware for not giving us free stuff, but we can for giving it to US people only. I feel like being cast appart...

If they didn't intend to do some event for ALL their fans, then IMO they shouldn't have done ANY event. It's like a dad with 5 boys who tells "hey boys, I'm gonna give you an epic gift !", and then gives it only to one of them... How do you think the others feel ? I'm just sad and very, very disappointed.

I guess it's the work of EA, that explains the fail, cause I don't want to believe Bioware has done such a fail... Bioware, if you don't do at least public apologies for your fans around the world (that would be the very least, I don't even understand you don't say in your original announcement : "we are sorry, and we want to apology towards all non-US fans, but for juridical reasons, we can't have included you, though we hope to make some compensation in time"), you'll lose at least 1 customer for good.

Oops, forgot one...

6.) Have the mods close this topic along with any other topic mentioning the Bioware Bazaar in a negative light, and pretend like this whole thing never happened.
