Got off work at 3:00. Remembered the BioWare announcement was today. Came right home. Read the all the useless info. Laughed my ass off and jumped on the forums to participate in the s***storm that I new was waiting for me. So far not disappointed.



That being said the one that really bothers me is the whole Twitter tie-in. F*** Twitter.



Will surely think twice b4 buying any DLC's in the future.

I'm a french forum user.

Since the DAO release, we had to wait 3 months before getting moderators for the forum. The only official guy there is the EA France community manager, and he comes less than once a month. No other official never shows up. We don't have complained so far, as we always thought the community lives more through its members than through official guys. Since, we're on the official forum, but that's ok.



Now we learn that we are officially considered as not being part of the community. Even if they announce it was a April Fools Gag, we take it bad, very bad... We are just so tired to be dispised all the time, until now t'was fine as we are used to it, but this is the straw that broke the camel's back.



Now, whether it was a joke or not, I ask (did I say "ask" ? I meant "I demand") that an official Bioware guy comes there and apologies, even in english. If not, then you Bioware are going to lose some customers as well as some active forum users, and by so a whole community.



This is a serious message, and I hope it'll be considered.

We are hacked off at a countdown timer that was flagged as an "epic community event", not a "mediocre marketing ploy for those in certain parts of the North American continent".
We are hacked off that "community" in EA-speak appears to mean citizens of 48 states.
I am hacked off that the epic event is a cheap con for the few, if it had been a smart, witty, panache filled con for all I still wouldn't have taken part but at least I'd have had a smile and a laugh about it!
