Guys, the countries and states that are excluded, I am fairly certain, are not participating due to their OWN laws regarding contests. No one at EA/BioWare decided that the only people that are a part of the community live in a mere 48 of the USA's states.

I mean the Warden's Quest event was not that long ago, and included teams made from all across the globe. In that case they did have control over it and consciously chose to include the entire world. That says a lot more than legal barriers on a single event.

Problem is they made all this noise and afterwards told us we weren't able to participate ...

I definitely agree that the fact that the event ended up being so limited could have been handled better, I'm addressing the "we are no longer a part of the community!" "EA/BioWare hates us" cries that are totally uncalled for.

I'm bitter... bitter that I was giddy with excitement for several days that I thought a new game was going to be announced.



Instead.. I get some lame retarded announcement about a contest....... yay?



My girlfriend was with me when I saw the site for the first time with the news .. she cracked up laughing... I quote:



"Sweetheart you should have seen you face... you looked like you just found out there was no Santa Claus."



So on top of dissapointment.. I felt embarassed too lol.



I gotta learn to stop getting my hopes up about stuff Lower my expectations.... Next time Bioware says a big event / announcement is coming, I'm going to assume it's along the lines of:



"Attention Bioware Customers.. anyone who bought a game from us will receive a free bag of monkey excrement in the mail.... but only if you live in the US."



You know it's sad when they won't even mail you monkey excrement
