All those people that are from Florida and NY that are complaining, blame your local State Law. Those that are not from the US, Blame Bioware...

Learn how to whine.

I'd like to unsderstand what state law this violates, seeing as I've participated in many contests exactly like this, namely, the mountain dew warcraft contest (same token thingies, etc)

Well, If I recall correctly, Florida and NY might have some State Controlled Lottery. You know, Laws and acts emanating from those might **** up a lot of contests and some parts might be illegal in some new administrative acts from those State Lotteries. Wanting to avoid a fine for a contest, they preferred to forbid it in those 2 States.

They wouldn't have screwed up those 2 States for arbitrary reasons.

As for the rest of the World, especially Canada... now.... that's just bloody lazy on their part.

Aww this makes me sad, but I'm not mad nor going to complain, rather, I'm going to play some Mass Effect:unsure::(:crying:

On top of the whole lovely epic US-centrism, the whole epic event basicly caters to the few epic obsessive-compulsive epic basement-dwellers who have epic time to update epic tweets every 8 epic minutes. For the rest of us, enjoy your epic shot at the epic inflatable epic swords.

Ah yes, "epic".

So the "Bioware community", in Bioware's eyes, is only comprised of US residents - I would've sworn Bioware enjoyed subscriptions, purchases and community participation from people from all over the globe...

My bad, I guess.

I couldn't care less about this Bazaar even if I lived in the States. Thanks for getting our hopes up... you know... for nothing.

Back to bussiness as usual.

Oh, yeah, Renegade Shepard: "Hey, everyone, this community discriminates against rest of the world..."

Blah, damned be the pricey PC's and expensive prizes! I would have been overjoyed to have a simple N7 tee-shirt, or a Cerberus sticker...

Why not to let people exchange their tokens for Bioware Points? That could solve that "USA only" problem.

Nice idea :-)
Maybe not 1:1 ;-)

Better than nothing at all, I think.

I live in NY and have been an avid fan of your products Bioware buying 90% of all games you come out with. Why exactly are you screwing so many people with this "epic event". Thank you for letting me know my loyalty and money is not worth that of someone in the other 48 states. I won't be buying anything else from you somehow you manage to turn a really positive thing into a massive failure.

I get it though your sentient machines millions of years old with complete control of the universe and yet you let one 30 something year old human take you all down. Maybe the reapers are inspired by the people who think screwing most of your loyal customers over is a "smart" business plan.

So if i'm in New York I can't win a god-damn thing? I understand, seeing as how New York is the greatest place on earth. You were thinikng you'd give the rest of the crappy, drab, boring, depressing to live in states a chance to feel good about themselves. And leaving out the rest of the world? A stroke of PURE BRILLIANCE!!!!!! And Florida? Florida doesn't deserve anything. It's like 70 degrees there all year long. They don't need any more nice things.

This is something that actually has merit.
I hope the dev's reading these forums pick up on this one.
If we can't be a part of the community event, at least this would show some kind of acknowledgement that we can at least pretend to be part of it.

Honestly, being from Russia I'm used to being overlooked. PayPal users in Russia can't receive money to their PayPal accounts. Many internet shops refuse to ship goods to Russia.

Having a licensed CE, a Visa credit card and a PayPal account I can't officially buy a Mass Effect DLC because someone from Russia isn't allowed to purchase Bioware points. Oooookay.

But you could've informed us the 'epic event' is for US gamers only. Fans from the whole world had been waiting for this and I guess the official apologies would be very appropriate in this situation.
