I'm Anti Bazzaar because it's only for USA and 'selected players' that long on at a 'selected time' at the Bioware forums.

Nah not really lol but as an Aussie Bioware fan all the hype just totally let me down, as i'm sure it did in every other non American/Canadian country.

Why do people keep saying that Canada gets in on the Bazzar, we don't...

Grats to those who can change their IP addresses. I hope you enjoy the prizes.

Yeah, because that's the only obstacle, the IP's, don't mind the whole "address"-thing.

If it were just the IP's you could just hop on a proxy and do it in 2 seconds, that's not the problem, and it's not the content restrictions that's pissing people off either.

I can't wait for this random bystander conversation on the Citadel in ME3:
Turian: "It's an outrage!"
Salarian: "I don't understand why they didn't express beforehand that the credit giveaway was limited only to humans."
Turian: "Epic Citadel Event MY ASS!"

I totally want a group promoting this for actual gameplay!

I know right? Its just gonna get swallowed up in this thread and missed.

But if this was actually put in, it would be made of so much WIN it would cancel out the epic fail twice over. So Bioware would have a spare get out of jail free card in there hand too :P

Guys.
It's for legal reasons.
Just like any contest.
It doesn't mean BioWare or EA are ageist, racist, or sexist.

Knock it the eff off.

You're missing the point

By 15 lightyears, give or take a couple of paces.

No, you are. Just because they COULD of done something does not mean that what they are doing NOW can be changed.

No, I belive you are missing the point.

Epic Community Event = 48 States. Two states and six continents are excluded.

That would be like FIFA hosting a World Cup but only including one country.

Because comparing a fan convention to a site contest is totally the same thing.

They never stated a site contest on the countdown mearly an "Epic Community Event" and Nachtritter76 did make a valid point on that topic. Blizzcon is an Epic Communty Event done right.

Unfortunately the majority of the community resides in US. Just check the game charts. US Sales are way ahead of European game sales. Should they have chosen something else with the countdown? Yes. Is it unfair? Yes. Is it worth trash talking, boycotting, pirating, crying, raging, demands? No. You're taking it too far.

logical fallacy: I bought one of my ME2 copies from the US, I live in Europe.

lol. This is hilarious. Personally I don't really care but I would have liked the chance to win a Litho. Find the huge public outcry funny though :P People power FTW!

I think they should have given out DLC such as the Collectors Edition stuff. 'cos im sure there are plenty of people who couldnt get there hands on the collectors (me being one, dam shop sold out.)

Best of luck clearing this one up EA :P

indeed, as a northamerican example: If I buy in Wallmart, that doesn't mean I live in Wallmart... (that reminds me of a movie...)

Did the same, was cheaper to buy ME2 collector in the U.S + shipping than buying it in the U.E (and bonus i got it on time while my bro got it 3 days late pre ordering it here).

But BAAAAWWWWW'ing is fun!

But seriously, I really like you guys over there at Bioware/canada. I'm just the tough love type. Man, the Dev team must be feeling ****ty right now if they are reading this. I doubt they could have done anything about this anyways.

The bright side of all this, the banners start to show the demographe of the players. I had no idea there were so many Europeans here. Kinda cool.

BioWare promises an epic community event for a week. I'm just saying what a REAL epic community event is. A ****ty contest that excludes most of the community is NOT an epic community event.

I have a question about the prizes.

If and when I win a prize, does that mean I win the entire stated quantity of that prize? I really don't want to win dozens of t-shirts... Or, are they bundling certain prizes together?

Anyone answer my question?

Nope, I think you win only one...

They claim that only "412" prizes will be given out, yet there are over 2189 items up for auction.

The same guy who counted Legions programs counted the items.
