The Bazaar and the contest itself hasn't f*cking started yet. DUH. And right now, the only thing this "bazaar" is generating is Negative feedback.
And again, stupidity rules. You're forgetting the big countdown timers that were running for a number of days.

Other than the members of the club I manage, you are the first that I have met online that's a close neighbour.
So, Hi Neighbour. Think of me when you are eating a Sahlens' Dog or munching on some Chiavettas Chicken
Remember me when you have awesome Canadian chinese food, and we'll call it even.
Unfortunately, you're making me wish I had an enhanced license now. It's been forever since I went to Ontario. Well.. Maybe not forever. But it's been about a year or more since they put the new laws in.
This is one of those cases where I'd honestly rather live in Canada. If I'm not going to be included as an American, and going to be kicked at for still being one, I'd rather at least live somewhere I like.

Next time I order from Happy Jack's down on the Boulevard, I'll think of you.
Yeah, it sucks to be kicked at for being an American, but not being included as one in a "Community Event".

Man, advertisers have you in their pocket, you're absolutely incapable of seeing advertising for what it is.

Advertising COSTS money. It may eventually generate enough to pay for itself and more, but that only happens AFTER the product or service is given/sold.
Has this Bazaar actually started yet, cupcake? If so, which product or service has been given/sold?

Happy Jack's is just down the street from the restaurant I always go to there.
Eh. I should just claim to be Canadian. I live close enough to the border anyway.

To show our appreciation of fan support and to celebrate the 15th anniversary of BioWare, we have created the BioWare Bazaar – a week-long series of mock online auctions beginning April 6th that will feature over 400 items ranging from custom painted PC’s, Alienware laptops, BioWare apparel and more!
Gee, way to show your appreciation for your worldwide mostly non-US community, Bioware. I feel SO appreciated. [/sarcasm]

Well, they should probably put up another timer, in order to "count down" to an epic community apology.Farahot wrote...
I wonder when they are going to react with a response to all this critique...and what will they say =(

The silence from Bioware/EA is deafening. I have seen Capons with bigger 'nads.
They remain silent while they discuss what they do - it is understandable. I do hope they hurry and reach a decision soon, though.
I highly doubt they are planning to do anything about it..they should have considered the impact of their "epic" community event" prior to displaying it for 5 or 6 days on every webpage and personal bio page.
If there were constraints by the advertising companies who are listed as sponsors ..then perhaps the wording should have stated something along the lines of epic contest for US residents only. Yes there would have been complaints..there always are, but not a backlash like what happened.
Their marketting people should have learned "something" from this ..I am hoping.
In the meantime, we are greeted with silence til this whole thing blows over...is pretty much the picture I am getting.

I think that might be it.
Haha. At least then I couldn't be picked on for being an American. It's not my fault Bioware decided to hold a US only event. Hells, I can't even participate in it. If I suffer from the anti-American stuff too, the least I deserve is to be able to participate.

Bioware is Canadian right? Looks like Bioware isn't part of the BioWare Community either.
Like I said, someone should make one for them "I used to be... Now I'm just an EA staff"

For Bioware to issue an apology, is a statement that EA was wrong...and thats never going to happen...also, they knew exactly what the reaction would be when whichever idiot decided it would be USA based only (excluding 2 states)....
Quite simply, they do not care....
