Lets not overreact.I know its not what most of us wanted to hear, me included.
I was expecting something a little bit more inclusive given the build up.
The countdown and the "Epic Community Event" insignia gave the impression it was going to be something quite major and to people eligible its a good thing.
My only problem has been the overhyping of the whole thing.
BUT..
We've not lost anything have we?
We're still going to get ME3 and DA2 at some point and its not like this is taking away anything from the games we already have. Yes it would have been nice to have something a bit more inclusive but all in all, I'm not too fussed.
Swings and Roundabouts.
This attitude is actually quite self-defeating.
If you were disappointed that (according to you)
1) they overhyped it
2) it's not inclusive enough
3) it's not what you wanted to hear
then to say it's not a big deal is one thing. (You're right, it's not the end of the world

)
But to say that
1) it means
nothing at all
2) you haven't lost anything
3) it's not taking away from the games you already have
is false, contradictory, and only hurts you the consumer more than anything else.
It is an indication of the direction that Bioware/EA is going in. It does have an impact now and will have an impact on those future games you're referring to. The company culture has changed irrevocably.
