The EA Online stuff is relevant to EA owned MMORPG's, not single player games. Punkbuster is run to stop people from using hacks, which is a good thing, unless you enjoy playing against someone using hacks in a competitive online game like Warhammer online.

I've been an avid Bioware customer for years. I was really excited to see what they had planned. Now I'm jaded and disillusioned. You're a Canadian company. I've seen your offices. Don't gimme the "contest laws" runaround. Blizzard, at Blizzcon 08 got a contest for more tickets together in less than a week, and managed to shore up the laws with like 5 different countries. You guys had time to do your homework. I'd have been willing to buy DA:O:A just for the extra points. Seriously, a Mass Effect 2 PC? I'd have done whatever I needed to do to get that. But alas, all for naught. Hope you guys come out with a real celebration for the ACTUAL community. Not just a watered down one for a few.

Indeed?  And does this include the  48 states only rule, too?

Disappointing. I'm guessing why everyone but the US is barred from the contest is because of shipping costs, which because the place they ship from is now in the US, also unfortunately includes us Canadians in the higher shipping costs.



Still, would have been nice if we at least got a montage video with clips from various Bioware games set to epic music. We want to celebrate your 15th anniversary too ;.;
