Disappointment I can certainly understand, because this does indeed suck for you all. It's just the spam of "BioWare has stollen this from me!!!!" that has popped up in less than an hour and really isn't all that justified.KneeTheCap wrote...
Are you saying that we don't have a right to be upset? Sour grapes this and that...Of course its sour grapes! We were all hyped about the announcement of an "epic COMMUNITY event" and the fact that there was a counter for it. And now we are excluded. So much for the "community"...
I would have appreciated that they would have told us its only for americans....That would have spared much of the (rightful) whining...

As far as i can tell Bioware is only guilty of False advertising. Which in itself isn't a huge issue but one that they could have researched a little better. I'm not surprised though since the companies been in a downward spiral for a while now.

Actually, I don't even know that this could qualify as false advertising anywhere. There are some really heavy issues of interpretability of "community" and once they actually said what the announcement was, they clarified all legal limitations and technicalities.ColeMR wrote...
Actualy, false advertising is quite illegal in some countries. There's lawsuits over it all the time. I'm not commenting on it in terms of context here, just stating an interesting fact when you write things like "isn't a huge issue".Sylixe wrote...

I don't really see where the false advertising is.

If you really are upset. I think it'd be neat to see how many responses the poll can get.
