I actually did create my account today, to see what the token system was because you had to register. I am active on general gaming community so i don't have time to come to developer specific sites that much. But Bioware is one of my favorite developers... but that doesn't matter right? I mean, even if i have played there games for YEARS, if i haven't had an account on this site for a long time, i am not worthy!
Please read my above post and flame me!!! PLEASE! haha
I could put "Bioware makes great games" as a post and people would flame it in blind anger.
Well wouldn't that please you immensely? I mean..after all isn't that what you are here for...Attention be it positive or negative?
I think I have your number.
No i am hear to defend the ****ing developer this site is based on lol
And you don't have my number
I am done defending Bioware though. There is strong irony in that fact that i have better things to do.
No matter what i say, i have been labeled teh trollz.
You all don't even seem like ****ing fans of the game. And the fact is, i think you are a bunch of liers LOL.
You wouldn't be THIS upset if Bioware announced a new ICON that only US members get... it is the free ****.
The fact that people are trying to think of "things they could give us to make up for this is GREAT haha)
You guys know it too!
I'll be back when the thread reaches 200 pages of whining. haha.

It's not even a US-only event. I would have been more sympathetic to you guys if it were. The restrictions are obviously based on the ease of legality.
Yeah. And now tell us, how they have shown their appreciation of fan support with an event the fans can't take part in?
They could have drunk a beer for our health just as easily...

Or they could have done nothing, gotten no extra publicity, and given away no free stuff at all. Clearly a better and less insulting option.L3zl13 wrote...

BioWare does make great games. Doesn't mean that everyone is going to blindly ignore a very big blunder in a community event.
(my original post didn't show up)
Ignore it? You are ****ing bending over and ****ting all over the place!

I WOULD be upset if they announced a new ICON for our fans, and then it turned out to be US-only. Because you know, people outside the states are not really fans, but just some random guys hanging out on the forums.
And, by the way, stop LOLing, it is not even a proper English - I must admit it is painful to read.

What the **** are you talking about? Have you even read the eligibility?
Eligibility. This Contest is only open to residents of
the 50 United States and the District of Columbia with the exception of
residents of Florida and New York, who are 18 years of age or older at
time of entry and who had Internet access as of March 15, 2010.
Employees of Electronic Arts Inc., and its respective affiliates,
subsidiaries, representatives, advertising, promotion and publicity
agencies ("Sponsor and its agents") and the immediate family members and
persons living in the same household of each are not eligible. Contest
is void where prohibited, restricted or taxed by law. All federal,
state and local laws and regulations apply.
You notice how only US citizens can participate? That is pretty much the definition of "US only"
so waaaaaaait a minute
this is ALSO just for citizens and NOT for green card residents????
LOL hylarious so even IF I did want to participate (which do not) I could not because I do not have full citizenship and just a green card????

Here is an idea for all the bioware/EA defenders: they could have made something that could have been shared with all their customers. DLC, an event, a sodding blooper real with bad takes of the voice acting over the years. The moment they set up this event in this form they chose for excluding customers.
If you insist on making it USA only, make it clear beforehand. Perhaps offer us an option that we have to pay part of the shipping, send it to a family member in the USA or something?

You have to be a resident of one of the participating states. I'm actually not sure how that applies to green cards. Legal restrictions are legal restrictions, man. They don't always make a lot of sense, but you still have to follow them.crimzontearz wrote...

In order to be able to win anything, you do have to be able to show documentation of your eligability should you be asked for it. It's in the rules.Feraele wrote...
