I wonder if I can come up with something witty for Israel (and not being lazy about it).
Although we never get much more then a day earlier of NWN :)

Utterly dissapointing, seems US is the only market Bioware is going to look to in future.. too bad they're just 600 million europeans and 5 times more asians / canadians / australians which could have bought the games but well this is a US community event not BioWare "Epic" Community event.

Your first grand mistake towards your fans BW I really hope you read all your games and community forums becouse the ammount of complaints should stress you and get you back on track.

Why, with so many download options for games these days, could they have not sorted anything else out?

PS found a banner

That's what I'm saying as well - even if you can't ship actual physical goods to non-US people that shouldn't prevent you from including some digital content that we CAN redeem. But yeah, that would actually require some DLC-ish stuff to be made and not SOLD so.. yeah, it would appear we're at an impasse.

The amount hyperbole is shocking.

I would also say it is a pretty epic community event. I mean look at all the people out posting and throwing banners around.
I peeked in on the general ME2 and DAO forums a couple hours ago and the front pages were almost entirely complaint threads on this cluster **** of a situation.
Ya all might be boiling over but it did bring us together :) Come on every GROUPHUG!!

Looked up EA's third quarter fiscal. investor.ea.com/releasedetail.cfm

Looks like North America represents roughly 58% of their 2nd quarter fiscal net revenue, and Europe at 37% of same.  Apparently they did aim at the majority market from their perspective.

Not making excuses, just looking for the logic in their approach.  The whole approach is still quite tacky.

bioware is really cool but, this wasnt worth a countdown to get us all excited and then for this bizarre stuff to pop up. you guys should make some new DLC soon to cheer us all up! Image IPB

This kind of marketing stunts will probably get your stock up a few percents temporarily, but it will most likely hurt you in the long run.

So, who thinks bioware would have done something like this if they hadn't been bought by EA?

I could sell Wrex's bottom left quad and it would be a more epic event than this bs.

For those who didn't understand the rage, pretend that don't understand or are just defending BW without reading anyone here... I'll repeat it:

Let's not forget about a HUGE clock countdown that the GAMING community has following for days, someof us hoping that it would bring us new of something EPIC related to GAMES. An Epic DLC, Expansion, Sequel. I really don't care for toy soldiers and stuff like that. Game for me is what I can play in my PC. I love BW's games since BG and their waste of time and effort to make this Epic thing into a total failure for the largest part of the GAMING community, is disappointed.

5 months waiting for some bugs to be erradicated, terminated, anihilated and nothing. But a bazaar they're pretty fast to make happen? And what about the server crash at 0:00:00:00 ? Shouldn't they be prepared for some huge traffic? They invited their whole community to the party but when we came, the ballroom is too small to handle all the people and only US residents got their name in the guest list? So, why invite us at all? And for a party that is not starred by major artists, like DA or ME actual game stuff. But by some secondary band that most of us haven't heard about, do not care about and was sold to us as an Epic band.

I came to a Led Zeppelin concert and found it was "Repolho Nervoso" (or Nervous Cabbage) playing. have you heard of them? Me neither! And I can't get into the concert because my name is not in the list. Ok, I don't want to get into that anyway. I want to know why was I invited and spent 6 days in a queue to be barred at the door.

First. That is for all EA games. The statistics for BW games could be different.
Second. North America includes Canada, New York and Florida.
Are you sure the rest is still the majority?

It's not mine, but I haven't seen it here yet:

Indeed, we Canadians are Americans as well.
