To be honest i still believe that bioware is one of the best companys out there they will continue to make great games, they just suck at promotions ( yeap bio i wanted that biotic visor in me2 but since i dont live in USA i couldnt buy a dr p.... )
I'm pretty sure you can still exploit the system, you don't need a unique code to get all items - you just need to make three different accounts and make them all based off the united states. I recieved all three items without purchasing a Dr.Pepper because somebody on the forums sent me a code.
Sure i could even ask a friend of mine to buy a dr. pepper and hand me the code, but not everyone can do that, and thats what sucks

Looked up EA's third quarter fiscal. investor.ea.com/releasedetail.cfm
Looks like North America represents roughly 58% of their 2nd quarter fiscal net revenue, and Europe at 37% of same. Apparently they did aim at the majority market from their perspective.
Not making excuses, just looking for the logic in their approach. The whole approach is still quite tacky.
This poll shows that the majority in this case is an other than for the whole EA statistic.

I buy my games using online game shops, most of them are in the US yet i live in south america ( heck i even need to ask a friend of mine to buy them for me since i am "restricted" to buy them ) they get 58% of their income from the US that doesnt mean that 58% that bioware game were sold in US or that 58% of the comunity where from US, to get those numbers the could have check the IPs of the incoming vistis to their sites.

I'm quite sure that's not representative, since the pissed off people are more likely to take part in that poll.

A poll with less than 700 responses, organized and aggresively linked to by people excluded from the event TO people excluded from the event. It's pretty much as close to a definition of sampling bias as you can get.

Often during posts there's a fair share of complaints and positive posters, if you read the entire thread you'll notice almost every single post is pretty much hating on the Bazaar.

Speaking with a lot of Americans and having even dated one, Canadia is a frozen tundra where Polar Bears live and the savages who inhabit it eat whale blubber and reside in igloos.
Bagged Milk is also our industry.

Have Bioware responed in any way yet? I've seen nothing on the forums, and nothing except the bazaar contest on their twitter account.
They never respond to negative feedback, they wait out a month until we've completely forgotten (although I suspect the signatures will live on way past the one month break) and then they'll announce something else - thinking their previous idea was BRILLIANT.
