In the end the only people who have to deal with a severely dissapointed (albeit one heck of a united Community ) are these Forums Moderators.

...So, how long do you think they'll keep this thread open? Twenty five pages of BioFlame is quite a lot.
Until we get a response, perhaps?

We generally get the sharp end of the stick but thought it was weird that they didnt include Canada in their own competition, which sucks even more.

I don't think this was Bio's idea. It was most likely a marketing stunt proposed by someone at EA.
...If it WAS Bio's idea, then they are simply taking too long to answer.

Why would you hope that? BioWare is owned by EA, and I believe most of their marketing is handled by EA as well.

You should add that poll, http://social.biowar...500/polls/3908/ , with your video while you are at it.
I want to see over a thousand votes!
Added it to the video description. =)

I love living in Florida. It's not like the good people from my state or New York aren't Americans anymore. And what, the rest of the world hasn't shown Bioware enough love and affection yet after years and years of loyalty?
I feel like we all got kicked out of the shiny new playground for not being cool enough. I am so distraught, my friends. Epic fail, indeed.

For the 10000th time the issue isnt the contest, the issue is the false advertising before the contest, implying that it was to be community wide. And THAT was the fault of Bioware.
Pay attention.
Yep... and the fact that we were all invited to some EPIC event, spent 6 days on a queue for admittance and what? what? The event is far from Epic and we had the door shut right in our faces!
At 0days:00hours:00mins:00secs ... it did not start... unless the Epic Event was the Server Crash... hmmm... come to think of it... it was Epic... FAIL!

Lol Russia? Who cares... Go kill some kid for WoW loot.
(JK, or am I?)
But srsly... No love for Canada... From whose wholesome bosom you've erected a cathedral dedicated to the crafting and polishing of your works, only to deny her the splendors of creation and thus take away what she yearns for most... A family?
Srsly srsly... No Canada?

I do wonder if we ever get an official response at all. While personally I really don't care that much about this whole mess, I do understand why so many are extremely pissed off. It was definitely very bad execution of the whole thing. This is not a community event; this is a ‘part of the U.S.’ event. Not to mention the whole thing stinks like a bad viral stunt some lame marketing student came up with.

probably not, few major questions have ever been answered that have been posted in the forums. My guess is that BIOWARE and EA will just ignore all our rants and raves and carry on with the "awesomeriffic announcement"
I wonder how much hate mail Chris Priestly has recieved by now...
