As I said....it is not about bidding. It is about marketing something to the masses that 70% don't even qualify for. Besides which, if you approach everything with apathy as you apparently do, then nothing ever changes. This whole fiasco was wrong in approach and execution and I think it is healthy and right to voice opinions on the matter to Bioware. If you don't want to complain...fine but leave the rest of us to do it then and go be apathetic somewhere else.
I agree with you man.Nothing is worse than apathy. I don't care about not being able to bid (I wouldn't have as I think it's rather pointless) but I'm posting to voice my disapproval regarding this shameless attitude towards the fanbase.
Given the reaction of most fans I'm pretty sure the good people at Bioware will have to take notice and recognize that it was a bad move to advertize something like this and build up expectations of fans everywhere.
Given that the whole thing was to celebrate Bioware's 15 years and that it was meant to salute the fanbase's support it's understandable that we should be irritated when we realize that to Bioware the fanbase is limited to the US (minus NY and FLA).
The most ironic part is that Canadians are de facto excluded from the fanbase. I could understand that we nasty Europeans were left aside but Bioware is supposed to be a Canadian company... Excluding Canadians from the fanbase is even more preposterous.
