@RageGT

Sorry, looks like I'm a little too used to my Firefox add-on that linkifies URLs.

@Urik187

No, I just love watching people explode over a contest. This is almost as good as NMA.

Either way, people are going crazy over silly things.

Well, and you are taking part in a marketing campaign poorly disguised as a contest/auction. Doesn't seem any better.

Sloth Of Doom wrote... For the 10000th time the issue isnt the contest, the issue is the false advertising before the contest, implying that it was to be community wide. And THAT was the fault of Bioware.Pay attention.

Yep... and the fact that we were all invited to some EPIC event, spent 6 days on a queue for admittance and what? what? The event is far from Epic and we had the door shut right at our faces!

People are mad because this shows how little integrity bioware has left after being bought by EA. Creating a great hype machine for something that's just a lousy marketing attempt is just poor form.
And no, where not gonna click your link, no matter how much you spam it.

I am fully aware of this. But I don't really care because I can get free stuff. If I were ineligible, I'd be annoyed, but I wouldn't throw a huge fit. There are 30 pages of this.

Actually, there are 250 pages over all (three different threads). :P

Where did you get the idea that I didn't care about the community? I've been clicking on many links like social.bioware.com/brc/1304138 so I can help others. This may lower my chances of winning, but helping others feels good. You should try it sometime!

i believe we ARE the community since the majority of the community (US and NON-US alike) finds the "epic announcement" an EPIC FAIL

I don't have a case. And it shows that a lot of BioWare fans feel let down. Not because they can't enter the contest/auction but because of the way it was presented. All the "show our appreciation to our fans" and "thank the community" stuff. social.bioware.com/brc/21328

I'm quite sure community means everyone in the area, or in this case: website.

Oh wow, I wonder how the lot of you fair in the real world. Having a logical debate (or discussion for that matter) is completely impossible with you because you shout "troll" the moment someone has a different view than yours. I truly hope that you aren't adults. :(

No people shout troll when you add nothing substantive to the conversation whatsoever, instead offering up inflammatory and degrading remarks in order to provoke a reaction.
