And if not... well, at the very least the auctions being 15 minutes and run continuously weeds out some of the danger in having a few people with tons of tokens winning everything.
Yeah, and one person can only win 2 auctions, so even if Bioware can't find them all, their impact will be limited.

Canadians are excluded? Shame on them. Stupid enough they don't seem to know that Europe has more residents than Northamerika (including Mexico). This thing is a PR desaster.Luka Anduril wrote...
I am seriously pissed about this.I have Baldurs Gate 1 and 2, KOTOR, ME 1 and 2, DA:O, DA:O:A all for PC and I can't win anything because i'm a Canadian? Dammit Bioware is based in Canada!
I was really hoping the countdown would be for ME3 or a new dragon age game or major SWTOR update but instead we get this : / blegh ...it wouldn't be so bad if the contest wasn't so....limited...

The schedule will NOT stop the top tier of people from getting every good prize.

Yeah, they'll camp out in front of their computers 24/7.

US only (no canada, nothing outside the american continent, and don't bother creating a twitter account with a fake adress, since the prize won't be sent over the frontier), it should be written on the front page of the contest to avoid any delusion
I understand the legal ramifications of doing contesting in Florida, as I am a resident that has also been in radio for many years. We have also had to dance around the silly laws for our contesting.
However, I still would have appreciated the exclusion being posted on the info page and not just buried in the contest rules. I spent a few hours thinking that I actually had a chance of bidding.

When this happens Bioware will do the same thing they did with the launch debacle. Apologise, lock and move threads, and pretend none of it ever happened. Happy birthday indeed!

Yeah, big time. Learn a lesson to next time. Global announcement and domestic competition don't work together.

Hey i won one of the challenges and sent all my information it asked for yesterday, but I still haven't gotten the tokens yet. How long does it usually take.

Same here, actually. I won two, and haven't noticed a change yet. I hope it takes a while for them to add it.

In any event, do any of you honestly think that you have a chance of winning anything substantial? Think about it for a minute. Bioware Bazaar = PR Stunt

I love everyone whining about being not included. If you don't like, blame your government not Bioware. They don't make the laws.

Don't you feel... kinda late? And don't you feel you kinda... missed the point?
People didn't really complain about being excluded, I think everyone is aware that it can turn into a legal nightmare to organize... despite this is highly doable, Blizzard can do it, check how many countries are included in this international contest and it was even supposed to be run this way. That was much more about the fact of being deceived, we were hyped up over a massive community event that turned out to be of zero interest for a huge part of said community.
But as I said, way to be late when most people got over it now...

Well obviously they're not over it. Pretty much every signature proves that. Didn't miss the point at all really. People are just pissed that they can't win anything. And that's all it boils down to.
