I don't really care about this all "Bazaar" thing, but that would be nice if we were able to. In fact, i was more frustrated by the usless countdown than any thing else.

Still love you BioWare :blush::wub:

But i need to put this picture for fun ^_^

what a load of BS, Bioware is a Canadian company, and Canada is excluded. Well, guess I won;t buy Awakening after all, if Bioware doesn't care about it's customers, I don't care about their products, simple as that.

One thing I'm curious about regarding the bazaar prizes is if the PC games are going to be the retail versions or some kind of digital version.

Uh I only read the official rules and thought it would be a worldwide event (at least I couldn't find the info that it's US only anywhere <_<). Now, after getting so many points together I discovered this topic. x_x

I'm not usually one to whinge and moan, but you really dropped the ball on this one Bioware. Announcing it's a bazaar where you can "win" prizes (some of them rather neat) and then telling us it's for the US only? You've lost a massive chunk of the community right there. I suppose I can understand sending a computer over-seas might be somewhat troublesome, but posters? Clothing? Come on.

At least give the rest of your community something. What's the point of the bazaar if only a select few are able to participate?

A Canadian company alienating Canadians.

It's like rain on your wedding day, it's a free ride, when you've already paid, it's the good advice that you just didn't take. And who would have thought, it figures.

Uhmm.... from the rules......
  • Eligibility. This Contest is only open to
residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia with the
exception of residents of Florida and New York
, who are 18 years of age
or older at time of entry and who had Internet access as of March 15,
2010. Employees of Electronic Arts Inc., and its respective affiliates,
subsidiaries, representatives, advertising, promotion and publicity
agencies ("Sponsor and its agents") and the immediate family members
and persons living in the same household of each are not eligible.
Contest is void where prohibited, restricted or taxed by law. All
federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
How did you not see that after reading the official rules when its like, the 2nd thing on the page?

And geezuz people.  They said they were going to have other promotions for countries missing out on this one.  I'm sure I even read its not a BioWare thing but a problem with how contests are done in other countries thing that's preventing them from holding it there.  So blame your country, not BioWare.

Personally I'm most disappointed in Bioware for setting up the spam link system. Now naturally the biggest jerks are going to have more tokens than anyone else, spamming forums with links and tricks. Really stupid and irresponsible of Bioware.

Having that ugly mess of signature makes you fit the stereotype just fine. Therefore it's less of a stereotype and more of a fact.

I was pretty excited about this until I found out I'm not eligible because I live in one of the no-no states. *sigh*

What's "hilarious" is that you can't empathize. Hilarious? Wait, I meant sad. Either way, it's clear from the fact that you stuck your URL at the bottom of your post that this demographic problem doesn't affect you.
If what you find hilarious is laughing at those less fortunate, then you may also want to go to the oncology ward in any hospital and laugh at cancer patients.
Gosh, what is it like having your sense of humor? Lonely, I bet.

Y'know, I've seen places with the brass as nonresponsive as here a few times (though not often), but it's rare I see anywhere that the powers-that-be seem to actively work *against* their community.

And just to show how mind-numbingly stupid you are, you decide to compare those who are unable to compete in an online contest for T-shirts and posters to people with cancer.

T-Shirts, posters, and computers, actually.
To clarify, I could not care less about cancer patients; the comparison is drawn between two instances where someone is laughing at another's misfortune. Don't worry, you'll learn about analogies when you get to junior high school.
For your peace of mind, I will change it to something you may be familiar with: "I bet he also laughs at children who drop their ice cream cone on the ground."

P.S. I think your mind was numb long before you read my post.
