But it didn't suck as much as Bioware's 15th. Jesus, good luck getting out of this mess.

It really annoys me when people jump to conclusions so fast and start plastering their hate all over the damn place. I live in Florida, and yeah, it sucks I can't enter the contest. But does anyone at this point really know WHY the contest doesn't apply everywhere? I don't either, but I have a feeling it has to do with state/country laws and costs, etc. For example, a few years ago I ordered a laptop from Dell, and they wouldn't give me warranty coverage because of Florida weather insurance issues. Wait till you know the facts before ranting. And who knows maybe those people are right, but at the moment no one knows for sure.
Im sure people can appreciate the logistics of that. However thats not reason people are annoyed.
It is the fact Bioware plastered a countdown banner and made a real big deal out of it. They intentionally caused a lot of hype and attention and got Bioware fans from across the globe excited. Then when the community event is announced they simply say "private party for USA only"
Thats why people are annoyed.

I agree totally.
They should have said it in the beggining. "Look guys, it is US only, sorry". They knew that people from all over the world was expecting something good. Now they simply ignore us.

True, I see what you're saying. To be honest, I wasn't really expecting much from the countdown anyway, so I hadn't really set myself up for disappointment. Either way, I'm still wishing BioWare a Happy Birthday. I'll leave the discussion of the Bazaar the actual Bazaar thread, though that thread scares me...
